Hi mam i completed in Diploma mechanical engineering and i next B.com apply hom many years mam in B.com

Anamika Vats 27th Jun, 2022

Hi Michaeel,

You can pursue B.Com after a diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Your diploma in Mechanical Engineering is equivalent to higher secondary or the 12th class degree.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) lasts for three years as recognised by the Universities Grants Commission (UGC) . The three-year degree is divided into six semesters. You can look for a simple (general) B.Com which lasts for 3 years or B.com (Hons.) which may last from 3 to 4 years.

I hope this helps!

My fathers name in my caste certificate is XY and in all other documents its XYZ. I had my IBPS PO interview, I submitted an affidavit for same. Next month is the final DV , making a new certificate is not an option for me. Will I lose my job or an affidavit will suffice?

Anurag Khanna 17th May, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

You can submit and affidavit for mean time but note that affidavit is not for permanent duration but it is for temporary time period so you can submit it during document verification of IBPS PO but apply for the new one as soon as possible because ultimately you will have to submit the new certificate with proper name.

I hope this information helps you.

complimentary exam for one subject is acceptable for jee advanced ? If i get below 75% next year but after giving one subject complimentary exam i get 75% Am i eligible for IIT JEE??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th May, 2022

Hi

When it comes to improvement examination after 12th, it's completely your choice whether you want to appear in 1 subject or all the subjects.

Even if you give improvement examination of only 1 subject , and your aggregate becomes at least 75 % you will become eligible for jee advanced, no need to give improvement examination of all the subjects at all.

For your reference

JEE  advanced eligibility criteria is given below :-

---------------------) Qualification required :- One needs to pass 10+2/ or equivalent with the following 5 subjects:-

  • Physics

  • Chemistry

  • Mathematics

  • A language

  • Any subject other than listed above

Those appearing for 10+2/equivalent are also eligible.

---------------------) Minimum marks in 12th /equivalent :-  you need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination.

††† IMPORTANT NOTE :- Considering pandemic in order to give relaxation. The minimum percentage barrier of 75 % - 65% has been lifted off for jee advanced 2022. It means all you need to be eligible is to have at least passed 12th .

----------------------) 12th /equivalent passing year :-  You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2022 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2022 or 2021

††† IMPORTANT NOTE:-

Considering pandemic, there's one time measure for students who had passed 12th in 2021 & 2020.

  • For 2021 passed :- Those 2021 passed students who had qualified jee main 2021 and had registered for jee advanced 2021 but couldn't appear in the examination are directly eligible for jee advanced 2022 without appearing in jee main 2022.

  • For 2020 passed :- 2020 12th passed students are also eligible for  jee advanced 2022 after qualifying jee main 2022 provided they have appeared in only one of 2020 or 2021 jee advanced or none of them.

Details about it is available at:- https://news.careers360.com/jee-advanced-2022-extra-attempt-iit-entrance-exam-candidates-who-missed-in-2020-2021-jeeadv-ac-in

-----------------------) There is upper age limit, according to which to be eligible for jee advanced 2022, you should be born on or after 1st October 1997. There is 5 years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PwD so candidates of SC/ST /PWD needs to be  born on or after October 1, 1992.

-----------------------) you must qualify JEE main  2022 to be eligible for jee advanced 2022.

To give you an idea of the jee main qualifying cut off percentile to be eligible for jee advanced,  jee main 2021 cut off percentile to be eligible for jee advanced 2021 is given below :-

  • general :-87.8992241 percentile

  • EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

  • OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

  • SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

  • ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

  • PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

Good afternoon sir , Im from india , my question is that if i qualify neet 2022 this year by scoring 50% percentile ( my estimation is that i can score at least 300) ,so i became neet qualified students, now i want to go abroad for studing mbbs in 2023 next year , have i attemp again next year

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Jun, 2022

Hello

No , if you qualify neet 2022 then to get admission in 2023 in Abroad you don't need to give neet examination again but yes if you want to get admission in India in 2023 then you will have to qualify neet again in 2023

This is because,

--------------------------) For  admission in India, marks obtained by you in neet is valid for only one year i.e it is valid only the year in which you attempt the exam

--------------------------) While for admission in abroad,  Marks obtained by you in neet is valid for 3 years.

You can check the same at:-

https://news.careers360.com/neet-scores-now-valid-3-years-candidates-seeking-admission-abroad

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2022 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

***** practising chapterwise questions

***** then revising the chapters,

***** solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

***** go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash course for you, the link for the same is given below :-

Thank you
