Dear aspirant,
Yes, you will get scholarships but after joining the course and you need to apply for it. It's under college scheme named as NIFT student merit cum scholarship. In this, they are providing tuition fee to those students who are good at their academics and are in need.

Since you mentioned specially for the Fashion Designing Course, I would say that NIFT is better than NID for you.
NID is definitely more dedicated more into the designing aspects like animation design, graphic design, product design, etc. But not all of them are fashion related.
But on the other hand, if you consider NIFT, they dedicate more courses related to the fashion world. They offer courses like fashion design, leather design, fashion communication etc.
So overall, NIFT would be a better option if you are willing to go for fashion designing.

To appear for the NIFT entrance exam, one must fulfill the eligibility criteria:
Note that candidates who have passed 10+2 exam in any stream from a recognised board can apply for NIFT 2021.
If you want to compare NIFT to NID, here is the key difference between the two:
National institute of fashion technology is India’s premier institute for fashion designing. They educate you about fabrics, illustration, aesthetic sense, garment construction, styling etc. It is more of apparels, where they teach you in and out of everything related to fashion. You will get your specialisation in round off apparel design (knitwear, fashion, leather, textile). It also offers courses like fashion communication, accessories design and Bachelors in fashion technology (garment manufacturing).
Duration- 8semesters /4years
Fee Structure - Approximately INR 2,70,900 in the first year and it varies every year. INR 9900 is the one-time security deposit that you have to pay

National institute of design is the best Indian institute for product designing, product concept development & design innovation. It is acclaimed even outside India. They teach you about design & art, aesthetic sense & extracts of design engineering as well. Hence. it emphasis on product development.

NID is basically a design college where students are taught about designs in various fields.the eligibility criteria for the exam is-
students must have passed the Bachelor degree examinations, they should have a Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in any of the fields such as Design/ Architecture/Fine Arts/Applied Arts, after 12th standard, from any university .
UCEED conducts exams to get students for IITs and also to some design colleges. the eligibility criteria is-
students must complete the HSC exam/10+2 board exams.Students who will appear in the 10+2 board exam in the year 2021 are also eligible to apply for the admission under UCEED . 2021.
NIFT :it stands for National institute of fashion technology.This is India's premier institute for fashion design.The eligibility criteria for this exam is-
.UG: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board
PG: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University
IIFT is a national-level management entrance exam conducted once in a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA), This exam is for the students who wants admission to MBA program offered by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.The eligibility criteria for this exam is -
candidates should possess a Bachelors' degree of a minimum of 3 years in any discipline from a recognized university. Students should have obtained at least 50% marks in graduation .
