Hi,
The job of a professor is a very respectful one & the salary is also pretty high. There are different national level & state level exams for recruiting professors & there are also professors working in private institutions contractually. So, you can opt for either of them. In most of the cities in India, professors are paid goo salary, however, Delhi pays the highest, followed by Chandigarh, Hyderabad & Bengaluru.
Hope this helps.

Check their website for more nuances.
Dear Aspirant,
As you have not mentioned the name of any particular university, I am assuming a general case. So, answering your first question about the faculty and student's approach to them, so not all colleges and universities have the best faculty but yes most of the colleges have good professors who are best in their respective field and yes, they are easily approachable to clarify your doubts. The amount of interaction with professors mostly depend upon your own personality and your approach to them. If you keep connected to them and be in their touch, then surely you will make a good bonding with them.
Coming to your second question, the resources provided by any university is good. It depends on you how you utilize those resources to their optimum usage. Yes, resources related to programming languages and other technical stuffs are provided if you choose a technical degree.
