In the context of DU (Delhi University) admissions through the CUET (Common University Entrance Test), several colleges offer courses in Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. The exact colleges you could apply to depend on your CUET score, category (general, SC/ST, OBC, etc.), and the specific cut-off for each college in the respective year. Some prominent DU colleges that offer these subjects include:

  1. Political Science :

    • Hindu College
    • Miranda House
    • Lady Shri Ram College for Women
    • Ramjas College

You should check the specific CUET cut-off marks for these colleges each year, as they can vary based on factors like the competition and the number of applicants.

For the most up-to-date and detailed information, you can also visit the official DU website or the CUET portal. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Want to do industrial psychology after graduation what to do

Mayumi DAS 26th Mar, 2025

If you want to pursue Industrial Psychology after graduation, here’s what you can do:

1. Choose the Right Course:

Pursue a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Applied Psychology (M.A./M.Sc.).

Some universities offer MBA in Organizational Behavior or HR with a Psychology focus as an alternative.

2. Check Eligibility:

Most master’s programs require a bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field.

If your degree is in a different subject, you may need to take a bridge course or opt for a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Psychology.

3. Prepare for Entrance Exams:

Some universities require entrance tests (like CUET-PG in India or GRE for international programs).

4. Consider Special Certifications:

Courses in HR Analytics, Employee Relations, or Organizational Development can give you an edge.

Is there any scope of Getting Teacher jobs. If I pursue Bsc Psychology Honours. Is it a good choice or course to go for? I want to go in teaching line, with Bsc psychology honours. Will it be a good choice? Or there arent really good or appropriate teaching jobs for Bsc Psychology students.

Rubina Naseer 3rd Apr, 2025

A **BSc in Psychology (Honours)** can lead to various career paths, including teaching. However, the scope depends on the level of education and specialization:

1. **School Teaching**: To teach psychology in schools, you’ll need a **B.Ed.** after your BSc. Schools offering psychology as a subject (mainly CBSE and ICSE) hire psychology teachers.

2. **College/University Teaching**: To become a **lecturer or professor**, you must pursue an **MSc in Psychology** followed by clearing **UGC-NET** or completing a **PhD**. This opens opportunities in universities and colleges.

3. **Alternative Teaching Careers**: You can teach psychology courses online, conduct workshops, or become a trainer in **corporate HR, mental health programs, or life coaching**.

### Is it a Good Choice?

Yes, if you are passionate about psychology and enjoy teaching. It also offers career flexibility, as you can work in **counseling, clinical psychology, HR, research, or education**. However, for **higher-paying teaching jobs**, postgraduate studies are essential.

Bsc clinical psychology according to new rci guidlines, will I be able to do job just after my graduation

Vedant Rathi 4th Apr, 2025

Hi aspirant,

Under the new guidelines of RCI you can get a job just after completing your graduation in clinical psychology. The graduation course allows you to be a counselling psychologist, not a clinical psychologist. To become a clinical psychologist, you need to do further education. Without higher education, you cannot diagnose or treat severe mental health disorders.

After graduating with a BSc in clinical psychology, apply for CRR registration. After successful registration, you will get your RCI license, and with that, you can work as a counselling psychologist in various settings such as mental health clinics, community health centers, schools and institutes. The starting salary in these starts from INR 2.5-4 LPA.

Check the more details about this course and top colleges.

saturation point of bsc clinical psychology will be after new rci rule careere360

Rubina Naseer 6th Apr, 2025

The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) has recently introduced a four-year B.Sc. Clinical Psychology (Hons.) program aimed at addressing the shortage of mental health professionals.  Graduates of this program will be eligible for registration with RCI as "Counseling Psychologist (Mental Health)."

Implications of the New RCI Regulations:

  • Increased Workforce: The introduction of this undergraduate program is expected to produce more professionals in the field, potentially increasing competition for roles traditionally held by those with advanced degrees.

  • Professional Designation: Graduates will be recognized as "Counseling Psychologist (Mental Health)" upon registration with RCI.

Concerns Raised:

  • Quality of Training: Some professionals have expressed concerns about the adequacy of training provided at the undergraduate level for handling complex mental health issues.

  • Regulatory Overlap: There is ambiguity regarding the roles and recognition of professionals trained under different programs, leading to potential confusion in the field.

Conclusion:

The new RCI regulations aim to expand the mental health workforce through the B.Sc. Clinical Psychology (Hons.) program. While this may lead to increased competition in the field, the long-term impact on career saturation will depend on factors such as the quality of training, evolving industry standards, and the growing demand for mental health services. indian express (https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/pune/psychologists-rci-guidlines-9437096/)
