Officially there is nothing announced but in case it happens in future then the college authority would be informing about the same publicly.

NIRF only provides ranking for 100 institutes/colleges for engineering program.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Raebareli is not in the list.

It is a government college in UP approved by UGC estd. in 2007. Overall it is a average college.

Hi, I am not able to understand your question actually. First there is no IIPT in Rae Bareli. It is RGIPT Rae Bareli. And there is IIPE Visakhapatnam. Both take JEE Advanced scores for B.Tech admissions. IIPE is a separate institute from RGIPT if if both  are for Petroleum engineering. The cutoff ranks for IIPE in 2017 are given here http://iipe.ac.in/admissions/cut-off-ranks/ while cutoff ranks for RGIPT can be checked here http://rgipt.ac.in/btech_admission_eng.htm.

Hi, basics are the same. However RGIPT shows a preference to Petroleum  refining and natural gas etc. Check the syllabus for IIT Bombay here http://www.che.iitb.ac.in/academics/UGDD07-curr.pdf and check that of RGIPT here http://www.rgipt.ac.in/pdf/placement_15jan2014.pdf. What you should understand is the RGIPT was set up exclusively for catering to growing requirements of the Petroleum & Energy sector. It is a national institute of importance equal to an IIT. the course is specialized and oriented towards petroleum refining, oil and gas products etc while the IIT and NIT courses are general in nature.

Depending upon different facilities college is providing, they will give the rank. Different website will show different ones but according to my search I got the information that it's having state rank as 368 and World's rank is 7955. So I can predict that it might fall under top 10 college list in the state.

Before entering into this college, make sure that you can enquire some seniors of the college. You can find in Facebook, LinkedIn etc..,
