Hi Aspirant,

Sanskrit epic has high essence of Historical importance and accentuates the rich historical culture.India also has an old and long-lasting tradition of full-length poetic plays, which are called Sanskrit Dramas because they were written mainly in Sanskrit.Sanskrit drama are so called because they have been written in Sanskrit language. they combine both classical Sanskrit with Prakrit or different sorts of vernacular languages.

Is it necessary to have Sanskrit as a subject in school for BA in sanskrit

Hello aspirant

Good to see you are aspiring the subject which have very less crowd and somehow can build up your great future too if you excel in it.

See for taking sanskrit in your graduation that is doing bachelor of arts in sanskrit the minimum eligibility is to pass out class 12 from a recognised institution with having marks 45% to 50% as it varies too from University to university. So even if you don't have sanskrit in your +2 you're eligible for doing bachelor of arts in sanskrit.

It is necessary for the candidates who wish to take admission in M.A in Journalism and Mass Communication programmes must follow the eligibility criteria of MAJMC programme.

  • Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university.

  • The eligibility criteria of MAJMC may vary for different institutes/universities. Some colleges must ask for some minimum percentage for admission in their MAJMC programme.

  • Candidates must have studied English as one of the subjects during senior secondary or graduation
