Dear Aspirant,
Banaras Hindu University is one of the oldest universities in India. The application fo the university will start in the second week of February 2020 and continue until the second week of March 2020. The date of the entrance exam date is the second week of May 2020. The exam will be tentatively conducted on 13th of May 2020. There are 100 seats available for the course of B.Ed.
The exam you will give to pursue this is BHU UET 2020 which happens once a year and it happens in both English and Hindi languages.
Regarding your query regarding the expertise in languages, here is the catch. The code of the paper is based on the subject you want to pursue and the eligibility criteria are based on these codes. It states that the student will be eligible for only one of the groups and he/she must have one subject as a post-graduation or graduation discipline. Since your subject of English, you cannot apply for the other subject codes. The Languages code is 564 and that of Social Sciences and Humanities is 568 and you are ineligible to apply for the same.
I would suggest that you work on your other two languages and the 30 other questions which are a part of the paper to help you score more. The first section of the paper will talk about Aptitude, reasoning and Education-related questions. The second part will have questions from the whole group. So if it were a science paper, it would have had Biology, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Home Science all of them for the 70 question section.
You can take guidance and prepare your competence in the other languages or if you have a bachelor's in any other group, you can still apply for it but then you cannot pursue B.Ed. in Languages rather you have to pursue B.A. in that group.
Hope this helps. All the best!
40% books are in English and 30% are in Hindi.
Of the remaining 30%, one- fifth or 6% books are in Sanskrit.
Now remaining 24% of total books = 1680, according to the question.
Hence total number of books = 1680x100/ 24 = 7000 books.
Hi!
There are pros and cons of both so you should decide after thinking thoroughly. As you have completed Sastri in Sanskrit so you are eligible to do both the degrees.
Now, if you want a job as soon as possible then you can proceed to pursue b.ed . This way you will get a job as a teacher in schools. If you decides to pursue M.A then you can study further in the field like having an PhD in Sanskrit then while doing research you can become an assistant professor in any University or college. I hope this would be of help. All the best!
Dear Nanda, for you to be eligible to pursue MA in Sanskrit, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree with Sanskrit as a language or a subject. You should have atleast secured a minimum aggregate of 50-60% depending on the Institution that you want to seek admission in.
