SRM:
In this regard, SRM has a slight advantage over Satyabhama. Till then SRM is offering placement in some of the big companies in India. SRM has a better placement percentage over Satyabhama. But if we ignore the minute details and highest salary offered then the Placements of both the Universities are kind of same.
Sathyabama.
Academics : As per my knowledge, theory classes will go good and practical classes mostly depends on in-charge you get. One can get easier Threshold marks for getting passed. If you can provide little time for your preparation of practical exams, you could make it remarkable.
Workshops/ Innovations :There will be many workshops going on all the time. I am sure not every workshop is productive only a very few are good and knowledge can be gained.
Placement: However You might spend your time during the course, at last what everyone need is people require job and some go for higher studies/entrepreneurs. Placement visting companies are numerically good and it is all your skill and talent which position you can acquire.
For SRM, it is a good private engineering college, and it is one of the best in India. Placements: Almost 96% of the students got placed in computer science and engineering. The highest salary package offered is 39 LPA by Adobe, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by Wipro.
Hello,
Integrated M.Sc in Biotechnology is completely different from the B.Tech Course in Biotechnology. The integrated M.Sc in Biotechnology is a five years post-graduation program. While the B.Tech in Biotechnology is a 4 years graduation program. Below I will give all the details about both the courses and institutions so that it will become easier for you to choose between them.
Integrated M.Sc in Biotechnology at Vellore Institute of Technology:-
This is a five-year post-graduation program and this course is available at the VIT. To get admission to this program the candidate needs to fill the application form online. The candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit in 10th and 12th. The candidates have to secure an aggregate of 60% of marks to be shortlisted, and the candidates have to study PCM or PCB in their 10th or 12th classes. All shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling.
The VIT is affiliated with NAAC with a grade ‘A’ and ranked 11 out of 100 by the Outlook Magazine. The duration of this course is five years and the total fee of the integrated M.Sc course is approximately 4 lakhs. Almost all students of the college get a job through placement with good amounts of salaries. The campus is very good with fully equipped laboratories, libraries, and wi-fi facilities. The faculty members are Ph.D. degree holders and always help and guide the student.
B.Tech in Biotechnology at sathyabama Institute, Chennai:-
This college is affiliated with NAAC and UGC with Grade A and approved by AICTE. It secured rank 52 for Private MBA by Outlook Magazine. The total fee of this course is approximately Rs 3 Lakhs. The duration of the course is 4 years and it is a graduate-level program. The teaching quality is excellent with great faculty members, they clarify all doubts of the students. They also guide the students about their future. Almost 80% of students get placed by the college placement facility with a good salary. The infrastructure of the college is very good with wi-fi facility, medical facility, workshops, hostel rooms are also very good.
The eligibility required for this course is; the candidate must have scored 60% at 10th standard and 45% at 12th standard with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics ) as main subjects. It has its entrance exam known as Sathyabama University All India Entrance Examination. The candidate needs to qualify for this exam to get admission to Sathyabama University. without Qualifying the entrance exam no one can get admission in the University. It has a total of 60 seats.

amrita:
One side you would be in a deemed university, well known for the education it offers (inpar with that of the IITs). You would have ample of facilities to help you grow but the downside what most would feel not good is the rules and the restrictions that you are made to face, like not being able to leave the campus without a pass, hostel in timings, lack of fun events compared to the other colleges, etc.,.
Other side you would have freedom, fun and stuff but education in Satyabhama is not something I can precisely comment upon cause I haven't studied there, but from what my friends tell me the freedom and rules are pretty light compared to Amrita.
So I would suggest that you take the Amrita part from me, Satyabhama part from the other people who studied from the University and then compare properly.
