Subhalaxmi Biswal 17th Feb, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Earlier as per protocols of PCI, Open school-qualified learners are not competent for receiving admission in Pharmacy courses.

Now suitability norm is an aspirant who has qualified 12th class or equivalent supervised by central or state govt. from acknowledged institutions with English as a mandatory subject with PCB or PCM.

Your board is identified by the state govt. Hence, you are suitable for the above-mentioned course.

I hope it helps. Thank you.

Hey!

Most of the NEET aspirants prepare for the exam along with halndling their school. So, it is definitely possible to prepare effectively and excel in your exam even while studying in school. Some tips for preparing for NEET exam are mentioned below.

  • Before beginning the preparation for NEET, every aspirant should familiarise themselves with the curriculum. The syllabus is quite broad and comprehensive, including NCERT concepts and ideas in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Half of the questions in the NEETt question paper are from Biology, while the other half are from Chemistry and Physics. So, since you must be from science stream focus on the concepts being taught as they will only ais in your preparation for NEET exam. Concentrate properly in school so that you need not start the topic from scratch which has already been made familiar to you in your school.
  • One should begin devoting every hour of their time into effective NEET preparation in order to achieve a good outcome. One should develop a routine for NEET preparation since it allows them to focus on their goal. Make a timetable, it encourages aspirants to stick to it, and if feasible, certain adjustment should be made on a daily basis to suit the aspirants needs.
  • The most important thing is that to get this thing out of your mind that you are doing enough. Keep the mindset that it is only normal to attend school and as well as prepare for NEET exam simultaneously because it is actually normal. You should listen to maybe 2-3 NEET toppers advice and what they say about how they prepared. It will definitely motivate you to do better and manage everything properly. Just don't compare your preparation with that of your friends if they are preparing for the same exam because you may do better than that but ultimately they are not the ultimate competition. The competition is from throughout the nation.
  • Candidates should prepare using the best study material in order to clear the exam. Medical aspirants use the best study material to prepare effectively for the test. Both offline and online, there are a plethora of books accessible m choosing the proper study material, on the other hand might be difficult. According to past years NEET toppers, students should focus mostly on NCERT concepts in order to pass NEET .

  • Candidates should take their own notes when learning NCERT topics, since this is one of the most efficient NEET preparation strategy. Aspirants improve on their memorization skills as they prepare their own notes for NEET 2022.
  • NCERT preparation must include revision in order to retain the highest degree of preparation momentum. Revision of the NEET curriculum throughout preparation aids applicants in evaluating their readiness for the medical entrance exams. Aspirants can concentrate on their weaker sections while cherishing their stronger sections for exam by doing a thorough analysis.
  • Candidates should do as much practice as they can with as many questions as possible. Practicing previous year's questions from the NEET sample paper or taking a mock test are recommendations for a successful preparation for NEET exam.
  • In addition to all of the above mentioned efficient methods for cracking the exam, good health is a requirement for success. Aspirants preparing for the NEET test will undoubtedly experience tension and worry as a result of their continual learning and thinking. In any scenario, candidates should not panic and must take care of themselves. Maintaining good health necessitates a well balanced first. Aspirants health has a critical influence in their ability to pass the exam. Always attempt to perform some form of mental relaxation through meditation and yoga and some form of physical exercise, as this helps to keep circulation of blood to prevent tension throughout preparation.

l am in class 11th and doing regular schooling. my school is from 9 to 3:30.suggest me a proper timetable to manage my school studies and neet preparation.

samruddhiphadatare01 6th Oct, 2021

Hello,

So you are in 11th standard you should divide your study hours as for school study and neet preparations.

If you wake up early you can give about 1 hr to reading course books and learning any formulas.

After school at 4 pm you should study for neet about 2 hrs daily, you can increase Or decrease your time according to your limit.

After that take a small break not more than half hour you can take a nap, walk, snack etc.

Before dinner do your school studies like completing homework, essay, assignment. After your dinner if you fill tired or sleepy just do some maths, solve problems.

Sleep early to rise early. You can add exercise, jogging to your routine in morning before your study session.

Don't do study sessions continue for 5-6 hours take break drink water in between study or you can eat something sweet.

If you are in 12th 2-3 hours is more than enough for neet study. You can do one thing the topic you learn in college you can go through same topic in neet books it'll help you revise.

On Sunday's try to give more time to neet solve mcqs, difficult topics, notes etc. Self written notes helps you and mock tests too.

Always remember quality over quantity.

Hope it helps. You can alter your study sessions if you want.

Subhrajit Mukherjee 6th Oct, 2021

Every year there are a lot of students who are cracking the examination of NEET being in a regular schooling. See if you have the right strategy then you will crack it. Now schooling is also important to some extent because when you will do your MBBS practicals then also the foundation knowledge in your 10+2 will be required. SO you have chosen the right way, just you have to focus 60% of your study period on NEET and 40% on your Boards. As the syllabus are similar you can prepare the theory at a time and practice MCQ's for NEET and broad questions for Boards. This will give you the training of managing pressure which you will get help in your final year of your MBBS or the course you pursue because at that time you have to do Internship as well as you have to study for your PG/NEXT examination. So prepare yourself from now and you will be warmed up to take pressure laterwards.

I have done my 1 to 10th schooling from surat and I have shifted to goa now for my 11th and 12th science and my grandparents( moms side) are residents of goa. Would I get the state quota for the neet examination in goa?

Atul Singh 1st Oct, 2021

Dear Student,

Your state quota will be decided by what state domicile you have. If you and your parents have the domicile certificate of Goa then you will be eligible for the state quota of Goa for the neet counselling. There is not a matter that from where you are living or have done schooling.

They will ask you the domicile certificate of your parents only not of your grandparents.

good luck :)
