Dear Aspirant
The ISRO Syllabus will be different for different disciplines namely, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Automobile and Computer Science Engineering. The detailed syllabus for all the posts is given below:
For this, the syllabus of the written test will be based on the curriculum taught in B.Arch and the test will be of objective type
All the best
ISRO needs material scientists but not directly chemists. But you can go for BARC after your Integrated MSc. For ISRO , you will have to complete your MTech in Material science then you can have a job at ISRO.
Integrated PhD from TIFR , JEST participating colleges will really shape your future well. There is no loss for integrated MSc since you will sit in TIFR/JEST after your MSc but if you join Integrated phD then you will get involved in research at the top research institute in India will build your aptitude of research more efficiently than the other.
**Its my thought process. It may differ. You should conduct a internet search about both the courses and then only take a decision.
I hope my answer helps. All the vey best for your future endeavors!
Hey!
The candidates have to first register themselves on the link that we have provided below. After successful registration, the candidates will have to be present at the given date, time, and venue on the particular date.
Eligibilty criteria:
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for Personal interview on the basis of valid GATE score in the ratio of 1:5 subject to their availability in order of discipline-wise category-wise merit list.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
Hi.
It depends on how you want to become a scientist and under what field you wish to work for. To become a scientist you will need to clear all sorts of national level examinations. For example you can become an scientist in R&D after getting your B.Tech degree for that you need to crack JEE Mains with good rank OR you could be a scientist that work in the field of Biology then you need B.Sc and M.Sc biology or MBBS Degree if you will. Furthermore, to join IISER you can give their entrance exam or join through KVPY Examinations. There are lots of options, so i would suggest you to get a clear heading through a counsellor or an elder with genuine information in this matter then if you have a specific question then please feel free to comment.
BEST OF LUCK
Hello Ashu,
It is a difficult journey to becoming a space scientist, but it is definitely worth it. If you are passionate to become a space scientist, just accept what you need to do and go for it. There is nothing better than accomplishing your goal.
To become a space scientist, one should possess relevant education in pure science or engineering disciplines.
After 10th, you need to pursue science as a streaam, i.e. opt for PCM.
After completing schooling, there are two modes through which you can join ISRO as Scientist or Engineer:
The eligibilty criteria for ISRO recuitment is as follows:
Hope this information helps you.
You can also check the official website of ISRO for detailed info.
Feel free to ask more questions.
Have a good day!!
Hello Asirant,
To become a space scientist, you have to study science and mathematics, in order to pursue your passion. A career in space science could be achieved by means of both pure sciences to even engineering disciplines. India’s premier agency – ISRO recruits both scientists (usually with PhD in astronomy, physics, mathematics) to engineers (mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer science).
The basis for space science is deeply entrenched in physics and mathematics and the requirements for the various courses would also require a candidate to be truly exceptional in these domains.
In intermediate, you will have to take up Science as a Stream, thus PCM would be the appropriate choice for you.
Hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask more questions.
Hello candidate,
Coming onto your first Questions, in order to become a scientist at ISRO you need to have a graduation degree at least with 50% minimum marks from any recognised college and then have to attend the ISRO entrance qualifying examination for further procedures.
The Second question of to select which course in IIST, it pretty much depends on on the score and the rank you have Scored in JEE advanced that whether you are eligible for B-Tech course or for integrated 5 Year Course.
Hope it helps!!
Hello,
Firstly you want to be a scientist right so Physics is really important for them.
Its like you are hungry but you don't want food .
So firstly Physics is a basic requirement for scientific research.
Secondly there are different type of scientists research ones , medical related ,or data scientist etc.
How to help you become a research scientist ?
You can opt for option like botany , zoology , chemistry , Pharmacology other than Physics that you are not into.
Complete your graduation and gain experience.
Next would be data scientist something that is related to vast world of Technology.
Data scientists are big data wranglers, gathering and analyzing large sets of structured and unstructured data
For this subject you need to learn a lot of programming language and explore their working
Data scientists are highly educated – 88% have at least a Master’s degree and 46% have PhDs – and while there are notable exceptions, a very strong educational background is usually required to develop the depth of knowledge necessary to be a data scientist.
So if you do not like Physics explore other options but for scientific research you have to understand the basic Physics.
hope this helps!!
There are lot of opportunities offered by ISRO. you can apply in the exam offer by ISRO for scientist Assistant recruitment. If you can obtain the required marks then you have to appear for interview on clearing both you will be recruited.
but, for joining as ISRO Scientist -SC (entry level) the basic education qualification is MSc or B Tech. So, you can also try for higher education after BSc by pursuing MSc from good colleges. , After MSc you can get promoted to Scientist-SC. Check the official ISRO site for more job recruitment details.
Good luck!
Hello aspirant
A nuclear scientist can work in nanatechnology Field.
Nanotechnologies can work to synthesize, engineer, test, and apply new nanoscale materials for solving difficult problems in energy and defense .The past twenty five years have ushered in an era of nanomaterials and nanoparticles – objects with at least one dimension between 1 and 100 nanometers
Researchers are now implementing these materials in areas as disparate as neuroscience and environmental remediation. To provide a sense of scale, most viruses are a few hundred nanometers in size, most bacteria are a few thousand nanometers in size, and a period at the end of a sentence is about a million nanometers. This new category of materials has ignited the imaginations of scientists and engineers who envision nanomaterials capable of tackling difficult problems in energy, healthcare, and electronics.
Nanomaterials are not new, and indeed occur naturally all over Earth. This includes viruses, the coatings of a lotus leaf, the bottom of a gecko’s foot, and some finely powdered clays. These objects represent natural materials with significant, and often highly functional, nanoscale features.
