scientist
Hello there ,
If you want to compare between teacher-student or medicine-doctor .. then it's not possible as they are totally dependent to each other . Without teacher , the significance of student will not exist .. similarly , without any student .. teachers are incomplete to distribute their knowledge among people .
Same reason comes for doctor and medicine .. any medicine for severe health issues must be verified/prescribed by doctor before purchasing. And without medicine , doctors can't treat patients !
Scientist and Entrepreneur are two different profiles in career prospects and both are important for the relevant fields !
Hope you undestand!
A junior scientist is a professional who works under the direction of a chief scientist and conducts research and scientific studies. These individuals work in a variety of industries, from chemistry, biology to pharmacology. They obtain and process samples for experiments and analysis, coordinating with other staff and scientists, document all tests, procedures and results, and author reports for management and clients. A junior scientist follows organizational procedures and protocols and must also follow budgets and meet deadlines. A junior scientist can work for a university, a private organization, or a for-profit company.
The life of a junior scientist, usually as a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher is rarely easy. The job often involves relocating to another city or even another country, which can be difficult and can disrupt personal relationships.Long working hours, often extending into evenings or weekends, inevitable clash with the scientists private life.Cruicial experiments or research projects might refuse to yield results for weeks or even months. The lack of clear options and the small number of higher academic positions cause much unease when junior scientists think about their career prospects, particularly in the life sciences. The efforts of junior scientists are not sufficiently recognised or appreciated.Despite the fact that most of the reasearch output is produced by junior scientists, they gain comparatively little stability and few career options or other rewards in return. But in current generation junior scientists are lucky as the need for scientific advice to solve global problems is increasing.Sabbaticals are becoming more common, and there are more institute based and young scientist initiatied courses and activities than a decade ago.A large number of senior scientists will retire during the next decade to make way for the next generation.More young scientists are emigrating to western Europe and the USA to study, and then returning to stimulate scientific research in their home countries. The increased mobility of junior scientists not only improves their chances for professional advancement, but also provides them with many opportunities to broaden their horizons.
Hello,
You can obviously go for M.tech in aerospace engineering after a B.tech in CSE, infact there will be a lot of growth considering you will hail from a software background and space technology nowadays is advancing on a global level which requires sharp skills and a good hand at coding, data structures and algorithm.
If you are interested in research domains as you mentioned you can aim for IISc as it is the best institute for research in the country and around the world and has also featured in QS and NIRF rankings.
GATE with a under 200 rank(GEN) can fetch you desired branch in IISc and you will have an assured and accelerated career growth there.
Good Luck, Hope it helps!!
hi,
see iit kharagpur offers bachelors course in bachelor of technology and bachelor of architecture. however students who has completed b.sc and wants to pursue m.sc may apply for iit jam exam to admission in relevant masters course.
see you can be a scientist after studying engineering / architecture/ general science course. you have to do masters along with phd to get scientist level position , depends on the criteria of organization. so decision is yours which path you want to take.
see you have two options to select at bachelors level to become a space scientist in future.
you have to study physics, chemistry and mathematics, english as a compulsory subject in 12th course.
once you complete your 12th you have to take admission in b.sc physics or bachelor in engineering / b.tech any of the course.
if you choose b.tech you may take b.tech in IIST in aerospace/ ece , or take admission in nits/ iits/ iiits or any other tier 1 institute in ece, cse / electrical/ mechanical engineering.
students whi has taken b.sc in physics, need to pursue m.sc and phd to get opportunity to work at ISRO, once of the leading space research organization in india.
students of engineering background may apply as scientist B position / ENGINEER at ISRO when recruitment would release.
since you are at early stage focus on your studies and give extra care to study mathematics, physics.
hope it would help.
Greetings!!
Honestly if you consider it depends on your wish to study any of these subjects and become successful in any of these fields. If you wish to become a space scientist but taking up MBBS thinking about Pay scale then it would take long years to succeed. However Aerospace is really a Fascinating field for those who dream to fly, now if you consider the general payscale of a Doctor it can range from 10-50 LPA also. For a Space Scientist also it is applicable, however in every field you need to gather profound knowledge and experience.
Good luck !!
Hey,
Yes yes.. you can become a pharmaceutical scientist after MD Pharmacology.
As we progress from a health crisis to an economic catastrophe as a result of the deadly Covid-19 outbreak, pharmacy, a profession that has long played a supportive role behind the scenes in the entire healthcare system, has been thrust into the spotlight. Because of its ability and readiness to offer emergency medicines around the world during the pandemic, India's pharmaceutical sector has been dubbed the "Pharmacy of the World." Following COVID19, India's pharmaceutical industry will experience even more remarkable growth.
So because of your profession it will help to outgrow you more.
Best of luck.
Regards.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing good. In order to become a scientist or engineer in DRDO and ISRO you need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering or a three-year diploma in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science/allied subjects in the required discipline from a recognized institute. The recruitment of scientists to DRDO is done by the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) through any of the following avenues:

Hello hello,
Both are equally good. There is no doubt that both of these reputed roles have supreme respect and power equally. Both the job roles are some of the most difficult to acquire by an individual.
See, both fields are different. For being a scientist, a different skill set is required while for Being an IAS, it is the same. The similarity is both works for the betterment of the country in every possible terms.
A scientist needs to have a deep focus on some particular subjects like Satellite data and invention. However, for an IAS, it is the development of the country. No doubt that people always considered IAS to be more prestigious and reputed. But ISRO Scientist also stands at same if we think logically.
Ask yourself whether you want to be an IAS or ISRO scientist. Think accordingly.
A wise decision is always appreciated.
I hope this answer helps you. For any query revert here.
Thank you:)
