If a student have failed 3 subjects out of 6 in Karnataka pu science then he/she can write supplementay exam.
However, you can not take admission again. You will have to clear your supplematry exam.
Some tips to celar Karnataka pu science are following:

Practice sample paper.

No, the supplementary exams are not much difficult as the regular board exams. Some out of the syllabus questions come in exams. But that is not something to worry about.
The format of these exams is the same as the regular board game and you just have to focus on the same question pattern and revise the same concept for this exam.

At the time of filling the application for NEET UG and NEET UG counselling (AIQ or State level counselling) you need to upload the class 12th certificate of Regular and supplementary examination by merging these two documents can convert the scanned images of these two certificates in to a PDF file. hope you are doing good.
you did not mention in which board you studied but you said you failed in 3 subjects. Dates of examination are different for different boards and if you are a state board student, then dates vary from state . so, keep a track with your board and get to know the dates of supplementary examination. you can appear and write the supplementary exams of those 3 subjects. if you pass in those 3 subjects, then you can immediately join any college with out loosing the academic year.
Act quickly and appear for the supplementary exams and prepare well for the exams before appearing supplementary exams.

The basic educational qualification required for the examination of NIMCET is provided below:
i) The student need to pass B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized university or college. or the student may do the course of BTech.
ii) For a general Unreserved category & OBC student its required that the student must have atleast 60% or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 point scale in graduation and for other categories such as ST & SC the student must have 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA out of 10 point scale.
So if you have supplementary there is no problem, but make sure that you satisfy the marks criteria as per your category.

With reference to yoru above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that if any candidate who fails in one subject in an Examination, he/she shall be permitted to go to the next higher class and appear for the subject with supplementary/subsequent examination and complete it successfully before he/she is permitted to appear for the next higher examination.
