if i get 33 out of 100(passing marks 35 )in 1st puc Karnataka ,will my college pass me or will i have to write supplementary exam

Anurag Khanna 30th Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See generally for such difference authorities give grace marks of 2-3 marks so that the candidate can pass at least but it is not for sure therefore now it all depends upon luck and the nature of teacher whoever will be checking your answer sheet, but there are much chances that the teacher might pass you with grace marks until an unless it is any internal test whose marks are not to be added in the final result.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

in 1st year if any student fails in supplementary exams,he/she will get year back, is this the same scenario from 2nd year too? or will it be a carry forward method?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 9th Jan, 2022

See every university have there own rules and regulations for such things. But in general, most of the universities allows the students to carry on there education and have to clear it in the next session or next supplementary examination. So yeah! its the most probable that it will be carry forward and on a next attempt you need to pass the examination.

Although I would recommend you to confirm it if your university follows the same rule or not by contact your college officials/ your HOD.

Have a great eve!

HOW the JNTUH mathematics 1 and 2 papers are corrected by external in the supplementary exam.

Sourav Sarkar 6th Dec, 2021

Dear candidate,

It is not to make you afraid but let you know the real picture of checking that goes in JNTUH is quite strict, demands near to perfection answers from the student. The checking often comes under heavy criticism and the student often alleges that a borderline marks is assigned to students. But actually the checking is strict that you need to write the perfect and complete marks to get the deserving marks. As this is the supplementary exam you need to focus well to assure the fact that you pass this one. Wishing you all the best.

Can I get a seat in the UPSC exam if I failed in one subject in 12th and clear it from supplementary?

Anirudh Singh 2nd Oct, 2021

Hi.

The eligibility criteria for UPSC under Educational Qualification is as follows:

The various academic requirements as per the IAS Eligibility Criteria are given below:

  • Minimum qualification for UPSC exam: The candidate must hold a degree from Government recognised Universities or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates who are in their final year or awaiting results are also eligible to appear for UPSC preliminary Examination. All such candidates who are likely to appear for IAS exams must produce proof of having passed the said examination along with the application for the main IAS examination.
  • Candidates having professional and technical qualifications recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional and technical degrees.
  • Medical students who have passed the final year of MBBS, but are yet to complete their internship also have eligibility for IAS. Although, along with the Main Examination application, a certificate of course completion (including internship) from the concerned authority of the University/Institution has to be submitted.

It does not mention the class 12th results, however they will be used in taking admission into Bachelors courses therefore it is important that you clear your supplementary exam and then take admission in a college for Bachelors course and then pursue studying for UPSC Exam

Good Luck

Bhavesh gupta 21st Aug, 2021

Hello aspirant

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would  like to say that your query is little confusing to intrepret , I would say that you have to give supplementary exams of those subjects only in which you have failed ,and yes you can re-exam for them but you have to apply on cbse portal. After passing those subjects only ,you will be considered pass

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
