The IPU CET eligibility criteria are 10+2 from any stream and a diploma in taxes for a one-year programme. The admissions method is merit-based or based on an entrance exam, and Fees range from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 2 Lakh for the entire duration. Average Annual Salary: Rs. 2.4 Lakh.

The entire syllabus of CA intermediate is divided in to eight subjects and two groups. Mathematics is not important to study Chartered Accountancy, not as a subject. But you will need to use basic mathematics operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc. to solve the problems of Taxation, cost management, financial management etc.

If we talk about the curriculum of various colleges of India then so far goods and service tax was not yet included in the curriculum but now the Delhi University has included the subjects in its curriculum. The tax will be taught to student in b.com (honours) in third and fifth semester whereas B.com (program) students of fifth and sixth semester will have a paper on GST and custom laws.
