Because you applied for the jee mains as a general category candidate, you should have applied as an obc applicant to claim your reservation, as the cut off would be lower than for a general applicant.
However, if you do not modify your application form between the 19th and 21st of January, you will not be eligible to modify your category.
Dear student,
As per your question it totally depends on which subjects are you interested in to teach others. It's not about which stream you should take to get a salary but you should have that passion for that subject.
Coming to your next part of question, for a dignified salary you can give ugc net for the post of assistant professor or if you took up science and of you are able to teach upto jee level then various coaching institutes are there to hire you with a good package.

Hello Aspirant,
11th and 12th class would be Senior Secondary, and Senior Secondary School Teachers are known as PGTs (Post-Graduate Teachers) . So in order to become a PGT , you need a Post-Graduation degree in the teaching subject of your interest ,which in your case is would be chemistry (non-professional, degree courses) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree. So after 12th , you should take up B.Sc Chemistry, then M.Sc Chemistry followed by B.Ed. If you want to teach in a government-owned school then you must clear the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam.Cracking CTET will help you become a teacher in schools under the Central Government (e.g: Kendriya Vidyalaya). You can also appear for STET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) cracking which will enable you to become a teacher in schools under State Governments. In private schools you may not need such entrance qualifications. Some private schools may not demand B.Ed as well , a PG in the subject may do.
All the best
Hello,
The eligibility criteria for primary teacher is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% aggregate, and you need to have successfully completed any of the teacher's training course, such as Diploma in Education/Diploma in Elementary Education/Bachelor in Elementary Education, you can also go for BSc-BEd integrated course as this will not make you graduate but also fulfill the requirement of having pursued a teacher training course, and further if you pursue master's degree you can become PGT, and can also teach higher classes.
Yes , you can very well eligible to become a teacher for classes 11 and 12. Class 11 and 12 teachers are called PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers), so Masters (MA / MSc / MCom) along with B.Ed is the ideal qualification expected. Some schools may accept even without B.Ed , it varies from school to school ,so you need not worry about that.
Hi Maria,
If you are an ultimate expert of your subject than you can earn loads of money and generate a massive income irrespective of subject you are teaching. If we consider a teacher of similar level of Arts and same teacher for Maths or Science, then the Math or Science teacher is expected to earn more as per current trends and student interests.
Feel free to ask doubts in the Comment Section.
I hope this information helps you.
