Eligibility Criteria for LLB is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% aggregate, in case of SC/ST it's 55%.Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination only,merit list is prepared accordingly and candidates are informed thereafter through call letters. Counselling is held on different dates for different category of candidates eligible for selection to the affiliated Government Law College in the premises of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai and the same is informed through official website or any other relevant medium.Shortlisted candidates who receive the call letter for admission to the Law Collges, have to attend theCounselling Sessions, with all the original certificates to be submitted at the time of counselling, only on the date and time given to them by the concerned authorities without fail followed by the process of verification.Allotment to the affiliated Government Law Colleges is made at the counselling time conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr.Amebdkar Law University, only in its campus.

As per your query all boards are holding equal position there is no partiality or any extra privilege in cutoff criteria .When we talk about extra privilege it will depends upon only category like if you are general then less privilege ,if you are SC/ST or obc then privilege cutoff depends .

some colleges gives admission on the basis of 12th qualification. Most of the college give admission on the basis of CLAT score. Appear the exam and have a good score to get an admission. Cutoff keeps changing and there is no way to predict cutoff as it is decided by the board considering lots of factors.
ex service man quota might be there is state counselling so cross check it. it won't be available in All India counselling.

Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University has seven affiliated colleges under it. The colleges have graduate, integrates, post-graduate and PhD. level law courses. Distance learning is also available as well as PG Diploma, Masters in Corporate Laws and certificate course in documentation. The university also runs a five year integrated course in LL.B. (Hons.). with BA, BBA, BCA and B.Com which has 548 seats in total.
The admission begins every year in June. CLAT is exclusive to the participating colleges. Though some other private and government colleges accept the score, TNDALU's admission is based on their own qualification exam. For PhD., there is an interview as well. The college thing varies from the requirement of the course and whether it is part-time of full-time. It is generally open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Eligibility criteria: For admission in undergraduate course, the minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 55% for SC/ ST/ NRI candidates and 60% for general candidates. For admission in integrated courses, the minimum marks in the qualifying exam required is 60% for SC/ ST candidates and 70% for general candidates.

If you are seriously willing to pursue law not just as a course of study but a career in future, consider doing law program as a full-time course, BCI has not yet approved full time Law Programs in India, most of the university offers certificate and diploma courses only in distance education.
