I want to get admission in Delhi university in course BA LLB . What I should do for it

Vidhi 18th Jun, 2019

Hi!

There is no B.A. - LLB integrated programme in any college of University of Delhi. Both Bachelors of Arts and LLB are offered separately.

While you can pursue B.A. in any college of D.U. after clearing the cut off for B.A. (prog) or B.A. (Honours) in any particular field, you can give entrance for LLB admission to secure your seat in Faculty of Law (D.U.).

Admission in B.A. will be solely based on merit. You need an undergraduate degree to apply for LLB.

Hope it helps!

Will delhi university cutoff will be very high this time as compared to last year cutoff? I have scored 93.7 in my best four subjects. Can

snehasinha1718 Student Expert 14th Jun, 2019

Hey Shaurya,

Nobody can predict the cutoffs of du beforehand. It is totally on the university.  Since the results were good this time as compared to previous year you may assume the cutoffs slightly higher or somewhere near to last year's.

You scored a decent marks but not enough to get good colleges of du in first cutoff for bcom hons. If you belong to general category it would be very difficult to secure position in good colleges. But if you be any reserved category candidate you may get them in 2nd 3rd cutoffs.

Rest you need to have patience and wait for cutoffs to come.

Good luck!

How much salary can I expect after doing BA English......from Delhi university..... And what is the salary after MA

tyagi2001ayush_9087518 Student Expert 14th Jun, 2019
Hello dear aspirant

English Honors is a in demand course,  and if you are pursuing it from University of Delhi,  the value of your degree increases. But,  unfortunately the placement of Delhi University in English Honors isn't that good,  you have to look for off campus jobs.

Hope I am clear.

How can I get admission in guru gobind inderprest university Delhi? If I have secured 91.8% in 12th cbse board and 82.90 percentile in jee

Ishika Mishra 5th May, 2019

Admissions in Inderprastha University are done on the basis of your jee main score card, your class 12th percentage holds no importance here. Sorry to disappoint you but if you're a general category student and other state student then with this percentile you wouldn't be able to get any branch in the college as this is one of the best engineering college in Delhi hence it's cutoffs are also very high. If you're a domicile of Delhi then you might get some lower branches but that's even not confirmed.

Thank you.

Hope it helps.

I had got 95 in maths 93 in physics, 95 in chemistry but only 80 in english can i get some good college in delhi university

snehasinha1718 Student Expert 14th Jun, 2019
Hey Priyanshu,

DU is one of the prestigious university of India and therefore usually keep their percentage high. Since your best four percentage would be 90.75% it won't be sufficient for to get a good college in du for pursuing bsc maths. If you belong to general category it would be a bit difficult for you to get a seat in top colleges but might get some off campus and South campus colleges of du which are equally good. If you belong to any reserved category then you might find a place in some north campus colleges in their 3rd or 4th cutoffs.

For a clear idea regarding colleges and cutoffs of different colleges check the official website of the DU at www.du.ac.in .

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

The dates for the entrance exam for DU and Ambedkar University Delhi for M.A. Psychology are clashing. What should I do?

Saumya Singh 14th Jun, 2019
If dates are clashing then look at the timings if you can reach the centres on time. Or else there's just one option that is to choose one between DU and AU whatever you prefer

Wt is cbcs in delhi university and how can i select general elective subject in du ?

Saumya Singh 14th Jun, 2019

Cbcs is choice based credit system where students  have the option to choose from prescribed course which are core, elective and soft skills. They are graded on their performance using the credit system. The credit system works like each course is assigned credit Core papers are given 6 points and additional papers are given 4

and when you pass it you earn credit. If you pass a single course in a semester you dont have to repeat the course later which means you can earn the credit acvording to your pace. You also have the option to study fewer course and earn fewer credits one semester and in the other semester you can compensate it.

Generic Elective are interdisciplinary papers other than your core papers which you can change and choose every semester. you can even continue it to the next semester. In total you will have to opt 4 papers in 4 semesters. (Ist and IInd yr). There are various GEC offered by different colleges and different course at DU. You'll will be given the choices by your respective college, you can check your options on your college website.

On the basis of papers available there.

The overall idea of cbcs is to enhance choices, ability, exposure according to students own interests and an interdisciplinary approach to learning.
