Topper
Hello candidate,
Yes, it's absolutely possible to crack the JEE examinations in first attempt with regular schooling board in practice and moreover most of the students who have topped this national level entrance examination have carried out with their general schooling mode with along with their JEE preparations at the same time.
The key to achieve and balance both the syllabus at the same time is consistent discipline and a proper study schedule so that you can manage both the syllabus is accordingly. Here are some of the proper strategies which might help you to organise yourself in a better manner-
1. First, go to the entire syllabus of both your schooling as well as usually federations and make a list of all the chapters in common and the extra chapters which you need to cover for both the sections individually.
2. Now, once you have sorted out the entire syllabus and make a complete list of subjects and topics in it to to allot a proper time schedule to each of these chapters so that you do not miss out on any of the important chapters which might cost you in the real examination.
3. Make a habit of giving mock examinations of both full syllabus length as well as partial chapters so that you can get to know the level of questions asked and analyse your level of preparations at that stage.
Good Luck!!
Congratulations to your son for achieving such a good score. Although NITs are a great choice for Barch but I will suggest you to consider SPAs ( School of Planning and Architecture) as your topmost priority. There are three SPAs in India : SPA Delhi, SPA Bhopal and SPA Vijayawada. I will list down some top NITs as well.
1. NIT Trichy
2. NIT Calicut
3. NIT Jaipur
4. NIT Bhopal
Hope this helps :)
Dear Student,
Every topper has just one strategy, and that is, to not count the hours of study but to work with your best efforts in less time. And to be very good at time management. Coming to the number of hours, if you genuinely want to know, then it is 9 to 10 hours daily. It might depend person to person. One more suggestion which I would like to give you is that, do not compare yourself with anyone else. Not two people are same. May be you study for less hours but with optimum concentration, then those hours are worth it. Otherwise even if you study for 12 hours a day and you are doing it with all the distractions and with no concentration, you will end up wasting your day. Also, don't exert your body and mind to study for more hours.
Happy Learning!

hi,
see there is enough time for you to prepare for jee main exam, however jee advance exam is bit tougher than jee main , however if you have good concept about board exam syllabus you may attempt around 60% scores in jee main. however to get more than 95+ percentile you must study previous years questions papers, solve the mcq papers and give mock test regularly to get speed at solving problems.
There is various online coaching available for students to prepare jee main and advance test. also there is free video lectures available on net which you can study.
so make a proper strategy and once your 80% board exam syllabus completed you may start preparing for jee main exam. jee main exam can be attempted consecutively three years starting from year of passing of 12th course. jee advance can be attempted only 2 times consecutively starting from year of passing of 12th course.
careers360 has online coaching for jee main , it includes online lecture series, mock test, doubt solving sessions, previous years solved papers. overall this is a complete package to boost your performance.

Hi,
Yes. If an applicant receives a first rank from the board in which he or she completed his or her class 12th, they are eligible for direct admission to any BITS school. Direct admission to the programme of their choice is offered to first-place/rank students from all central and state boards on the BITS campus, regardless of their BITSAT score.
BITS admits students purely on the basis of merit or rank. If you are not the board topper, you must take the BITSAT and score well in order to be considered for admission to the BITS campus and branch of your choice on the basis of merit.
You can give BITSAT only twice, Where you have to score more than 360 marks to get CS branch.
You can checkout updates for the application for the same on their website:- https://www.bitsadmission.com/
Hope this helps. Good Luck.
Hi Aspirant!
The official statement issued by BITS says that, " The candidate who secured first rank (Board topper) in PCM or PCB in their respective board can apply for direct admission." and a syou mentioned that by considering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics you become the state board (Tamilnadu Board) topper. So, yes, there are pretty decent chances that you might get a direct seat at BITS Pilani without writing BITSAT. You can visit the link given below for more details:
