Hello,

Admission to Delhi University (DU) involves a detailed process, and the criteria can vary depending on the course and the category under which you are applying (merit-based, entrance-based, sports quota, etc.). Here's a comprehensive overview of the admission criteria for Delhi University:

    • For courses like BMS, BBA-FIA, and BA (Hons) Business Economics, admission is through the DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test).
  3. Merit-Based Admission :

    • Admission to most undergraduate courses (excluding those requiring entrance exams) is traditionally based on the cut-off marks released by DU.

maine class 12 gseb board mai 2 subject mai fail hu toh maine unhi 2 subject ka srif exam du toh mere pass 2 marksheet hogi toh mbbs mai admission lene mai problem toh nahi hogi

Radhika Goyal 21st Sep, 2024

Hy,

If you have failed in two subjects in the GSEB Class 12 board and plan to retake only those two subjects, having two mark sheets (one for the original attempt and one for the re-exam) should generally not cause issues for MBBS admission. Here are some key points to consider:

1. Clear Communication :

  • When applying for MBBS programs, ensure you clearly communicate your situation and provide both mark sheets.

2. Eligibility Criteria :

  • Check the eligibility criteria of the medical colleges you are interested in, as they may have specific requirements regarding board exams.

3. Retake Marks :

  • Ensure that your marks from the retake are reflected accurately in your documentation, as colleges will want to see your final results.

4. Counseling :

  • During the counseling process, be prepared to explain your situation if asked. Having both mark sheets will help clarify your academic standing.

Conclusion

As long as you meet the overall eligibility criteria with your final results, having two mark sheets should not pose a problem for MBBS admissions. If you have specific colleges in mind, checking their admission policies directly would be beneficial.

I have scored 452 marks in CUET 2024 and wanted to know what colleges in Delhi University would i be eligible for?

Kanishka kaushikii 29th Jul, 2024

Hello aspirant,
A CUET score of 452 is a good score, but it might be challenging to secure admission to the most sought-after colleges and courses in Delhi University's North Campus.

With a score of 452, you have a good chance of securing admission to:

Colleges in South Campus and other campuses: These colleges often have lower cutoffs compared to North Campus.
Less popular courses: You might have better chances in courses with lower demand.
Evening colleges: These colleges generally have lower cutoffs.

I hope this helps.

can i get admission in du with 400 marks in ba obc category

Ishita 29th Jul, 2024

Hello Aspirant

In order to get admitted to DU on the basis of your CUET UG score, you must get marks between the range of 550-650, and this is for the OBC category, for the general category, this range changes to 700-750. With 400 marks, you may get a decent college in India but DU may not be possible. You may wait for their 3rd or 4th list, but I would suggest that you look for other colleges as well. DU is just a brand at this point, there are other good colleges as well.

Hope this helps

i score 437/800 OBC-ncl can i get admission in du with the course of geography honours or any other honours..???

Ishita 29th Jul, 2024

Hello Aspirant

A good score in CUET UG for a student belonging to the OBC category is around 600 because, for the General category, it is 700-750, which is for DU. A score of 437 is not enough to get admitted to DU, that too for the Humanities. A score between 400-600 is considered average and you may get admitted to a decent college in India for BA Geography but not in DU. You may wait for their 3rd or 4th list.

Hope this helps.
