University of Delhi, Delhi
Hello,
A raw CUET score of 403 places you in a moderate zone college and getting admission to a Zoology (Hons) program in Delhi University (DU) will depend on few things like your percentile in the CUET (not just the raw score), Category you belong to General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS, Course & College demand you wants to take, Round-wise seat allocation you can may get a better college in later rounds. As every year, cutoffs change, so you should not depend only on the first round data. Zoology (Hons) is a popular course in the science stream, so top colleges like Miranda House, Hindu College, or Hansraj have high cutoffs every year . However, with a CUET score of 403, you can still target mid to lower-tier DU colleges, especially in spot rounds or later merit lists releases.
Some of the DU colleges you can get depending on category and cutoffs like :
Swami Shraddhanand College,Motilal Nehru College (Evening),Aditi Mahavidyalaya,Dyal Singh College (Evening) and ,Bhagini Nivedita College.
But don't worry some students with scores around 400 got admission in evening colleges in previous years, especially in later rounds. Cutoffs fluctuate, so keeping track of spot round seats really helps. Also, since DU now uses CUET percentile for seat allotment, not just raw scores, you should check your percentile and preferred college’s previous cutoff data for a more accurate idea.
Make sure to fill in as many choices as possible during CSAS counselling, Don’t miss spot rounds they often have relaxed cutoffs,Keep checking DU’s official admission portal for updates
You can also try this CUET College Predictor tool to check which colleges you might get based on your score:

Indeed, you may add the BA Programme combination of Psychology and Political Science to your Delhi University (DU) preference list, even if you did not study Psychology in Class 12. Admissions to DU are now mainly determined by CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores, rather than whether you studied the subject in school.
For the majority of courses in the BA Programme, eligibility requires having taken any relevant subjects in Class 12 and selecting suitable subjects in CUET (such as English plus three domain subjects you studied in school). Psychology is regarded as a domain subject in CUET, and you may apply for it provided it corresponds with your selected CUET subjects and combinations accepted by the institution.
Ensure you read the subject eligibility and preference list guidelines on the DU CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal thoroughly when entering your preferences.
Hope this helps. All the best!

Hello Aspirant,
If you are planning on pursuing an Electronics program with VLSI specialization, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) and SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur (Main Campus) are two decent private colleges, but there is a considerable difference:
SRM Kattankulathur (Main Campus):
Manipal University Jaipur:
If your primary objective is core VLSI with placement in semiconductor companies, neither college is likely to provide really solid core VLSI placements similar to what top IITs, NITs or IIIT-H might offer. However, SRM Main Campus has relatively Stronger industry tie-ups, Better electronics lab facilities and Stronger placement record
With a Practical Rank of 12,680, Farm Science Rank of 60,680, PCMB Rank of 348, and KCET marks of 87 under 2A category with 371J reservation, your chances for B.Sc. Agriculture seat in UAS Dharwad (University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad) are low in the initial rounds, but you might stand a chance in casual vacancy or special reservation rounds (371J), especially if seats remain unfilled.
As your EWS certificate was issued on 30th July 2024 and for DU 5 year LLB course, you need to have one which is issued after 1st April 2025, you will need to renew your EWS certificate after 1st April 2025.
After renewing the EWS certificate, you would be eligible to get benefit under the EWS category and continue your admission process.
Thank You!!!
Dear student,
If you’ve passed 5 out of 6 subjects in your Class 12th and only received RT (Repeat Theory) in Maths, which is your additional subject, then you are still considered as having passed according to CBSE rules. As Maths is not a core subject in your commerce stream, it usually won’t affect your eligibility for most courses at Delhi University, especially if it is not counted in your best of four/five percentage. Generally it won't be counted as your best of five/four as you have passed in the other subjects so automatically it will become your sixth subject. You should be able to fill out the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal for DU without any problem. If Maths is not required for your preferred course, you’re good to go.
Good luck!
The ug admission in Cluster Innovation centre Delhi,is based on CUET entrance test. For registration the students have visit the DU CSAS portal and register there.
