if the UP board and CBSE board all subject slyabuss are same

Ishita 20th Aug, 2024

No, the syllabuses of UP Board and CBSE are not completely identical.

While there might be overlaps in certain topics and concepts, there are significant differences in terms of:

Depth of Coverage: Some topics might be covered in more detail in one board compared to the other.

Emphasis on Different Areas: The focus on certain subjects or topics can vary between the two boards.

Textbook Content: The textbooks used by the two boards often differ, leading to variations in the presentation of content.

Exam Pattern: The structure and format of question papers can be different.

1. Curriculum Structure and Depth:

  • CBSE: Known for its comprehensive curriculum with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding.
  • UP Board: Focuses on core subjects with a slightly different depth and breadth compared to CBSE.

2. Language Emphasis:

  • CBSE: Promotes both Hindi and English, offering a wider range of language options.
  • UP Board: Primarily focuses on Hindi with English as a second language.

3. Exam Pattern:

  • CBSE: Has undergone changes in the exam pattern, including objective-type questions and practical assessments.
  • UP Board: Traditionally followed a more subjective exam pattern with a focus on theoretical knowledge

4. Evaluation System:

  • CBSE: Has implemented Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) in the past, with a focus on formative assessment.
  • UP Board: Has a more traditional examination system with annual exams as the primary evaluation method.

5. Focus on Regional Aspects:

  • CBSE: Emphasizes a national perspective with a focus on core subjects.
  • UP Board: Incorporates regional aspects and culture of Uttar Pradesh into the curriculum

If you can specify the books that you are particularly looking into, I can give you the actual difference.

can a general ews student get govt seat of homeopathy ayurveda or physiotherapy or bds with 329 marks?

SHUBHANGI SINHA 30th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Depending on the state and particular college cutoffs, a General EWS applicant with 329 NEET scores may be able to obtain a government seat in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, or Physiotherapy, as well as perhaps in BDS. While AYUSH courses may have lower cutoffs, government BDS seats are often more competitive and require higher marks.

satyamercedes0626 19th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

As per your question, YES you can absolutely apply for the compartment exam. In order for a student to be eligible for the compartment exam in CBSE, one need to either fail in the CBSE exam or student who is absent in the exam due to health issues or any other valid reasons. So if you have any valid reason, then you can apply for the exam.

Hope this helps!!

can i repeat class 10 from nios after completing class 12 from up board

Ishita 23rd Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

Yes, you can repeat Class 10 from NIOS after completing Class 12 from UP Board.

NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) is an open school system that allows students to study at their own pace. It offers flexibility in terms of age, location, and previous academic qualifications.

Here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Obtain the application form: You can obtain the NIOS application form online from the official NIOS website or from regional centers.
  2. Fill out the application form: Fill in the necessary details accurately and attach the required documents, such as your Class 12 certificate and mark sheet.
  3. Submit the application form: Submit the completed application form along with the required fees to the designated NIOS regional center.
  4. Enroll in Class 10: Once your application is approved, you can enroll in Class 10 from NIOS.
  5. Study and appear for exams: You can study the Class 10 syllabus at your own pace and appear for the NIOS Class 10 exams.

It's important to note that while you can repeat Class 10 from NIOS, it's generally not recommended unless you have a compelling reason to do so. If you have already completed Class 12, it might be more beneficial to focus on further studies or career opportunities.
