lakshita shaan 26th Jun, 2020

hey,

unlike UPSC prelims , you can use any pen in mains exam , i would suggest you to choose the pen in which you are comfortable to write , choose a pen are lightweight and are sleek in design, pen having soft tips  and rubber grip .

neat handwriting and presentation matters a lot.

How many chances will get the writing of neet exms in intermediate 1and2

Shubham Dhane 25th Jun, 2020

Hello,

NEET is conducted once in a year and there is no upper age limit for NEET until the Supreme Court passes its judgement on it. But you cannot give NEET in intermediate first year as Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET.

I got 55 marks in inter first year in phy should I write improvement or not , when Im already writing three subjects in improvement???????? Im so confused.plz reply me fast.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 19th Jun, 2020

hi,

see if you want to improve your marks in physics and want to score better, then you should write physics, as per your score you need to study atleast more 50% syllabus of physics of 11th standard, however before writing improvement make sure you have good preparation or you can take better preparation this time. however in most of the board exams like west bengal state board, 11th score is not matter, 10+2 certificates is based on 12th score /final  board exams score.

is it possible to join b.arck by writing only jee mains paper-2 without attempting NATA? or is NATA mandatory to join b.arch in any college?

S. Saha Student Expert 17th Jun, 2020
Yes, You can get into B.arch with only Jee Main Paper 2 scores. It is not mandatory to write Nata for admission to B.Arch or B.Plan. Like NITs, SPAs offer admission on the basis of Jee Main paper 2. There are many colleges which offer B.Arch on the basis of NATA Score. But if you are asking about any particular college then it depends on the college how it takes admission- on the basis of Jee Main or Nata. As you haven't mentioned the name of the college, it is difficult to predict.

I am preparing for jeemain july. I am writing mocks. Ok,now taking maths I am still getting 20-30 marks only, I need to get atleast 150-180 the total score in exam,to reach it I need atleast 60-70 marks in maths. But I am getting 45-50 in chem and very less in phy(10-20). Provide me the best way.

rehan18alam Student Expert 16th Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

In this case you have described I would suggest you should attempt the same paper multiple times, atleast 3 times, and then look at the solutions to all the questions you have not got right.

Keep on repeating the papers, do not attempt same paper two times in a row though. For example there is paper 1 you have given on day 1, then paper 2 on day 2 and then paper 3 on day 3. After that repeat, paper 1 on Day 4, Paper 2 on Day 5, and so on.

You can also attempt two papers in one day as the time comes to end.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

i am from telengana board and writing kcet ..how will they convert marks from ts board for kcet consideration?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Jun, 2020

Ayushi, if you look at the eligibility criteria for KCET available at our page: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-eligibility-criteria, for being eligible for KCET, you should have fulfilled the following rules:

  1. You should have studied from a Recognised Institute within the State of Karnataka
  2. You should have studied atleast a period of 7 years starting from your 1st to PUC
  3. You should have either completed your 10th or 12th from Karnataka

Now there are certain other criteria for Children of Defense Personnel, Migrant Candidates of Jammu and Kashmir, Mother Tongue of the Candidates, Children of Members of the Parliament, Children of State and Government Employees. Now if you fulfil any of this criteria, then please do let us know because then the conversion is dependant on which stream you want to apply i.e. Engineering or Medical. Or else you should be appearing for COMEDK.  But in general, your CGPA is multiplied by 9.5 and that gives you the percentage. For more information, please read the FAQs at http://kea.kar.nic.in/cet2012/faq_2012.pdf

Hi, Im from Karnataka,I have applied for KCET but Im not writing KCET, Im writing Only NEET,is there any problem during NEET counseling

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2020

NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. It is a National level Entrance examination if you want to study MBBS, BDS, Ayush or Veterinary courses across India. But KCET is a State Level Entrance examination for admission to Engineering, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical courses. So both the exams have different out reaches. If you want to study MBBS/BDS/Ayush/Veterinary courses, NEET is the exam that you have to attempt. And you not appearing for KCET doesn't hold any importance during NEET Counselling. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 2 more months to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity

Im writing mocktests conducting by NTA and Im getting 120 marks in jee mains exam, can I get same marks in final jeeains exam in july

Sharon Rose Student Expert 10th Jun, 2020
Hello,
It is not guaranteed that you may get same marks but it will be around that score depending on your performance on the day of your examination. But you can expect similar score if you do well. The difficulty level of exam will be the same like mock tests you are attempting because they are previous year papers. So if you attempt more mock tests you can boost your performance.

I am preparing for jeemain july. I am writing mocks on the exam. Still I am getting 60 marks there is no improvement in marks. I am unable to find my loop holes in the exam. Please guide me to do well in the exam. I need atleast 150+marks in july.

Soumili Majumdar 10th Jun, 2020
Hello there,
To be honest, the mock tests are tougher than the actual JEE Main exam. It just prepares you for the worst. Now if you are getting 60 in mock tests, you may get 75-85 marks in your actual exam. Don't panic, also don't lose hope. Try concentrating in your studies. Divide your syllabus according to the topics which you are confident and not-so-confident. Keep revising the syllabus. Solve the previous year papers and see how much do you score there. Many times questions come common if you have thoroughly solved the previous 10years paper. Also, don't get disappointed, and eat healthy, stay healthy.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!
