I belong to 2a category and I have lost my original income and caste certificate but I have Xerox of it so can I upload that only for online document verification .please guide me.

Akram Khan 31st Aug, 2020

Hi,

At the document verification your are required to have the original documents. Usually the institution take document verification process on the spot. But due to the covid 19 the document verification is being done online by many institutions.

So to upload documents you will require the original certificate. It depends on the system that if they accept the Xerox or not.

So you should immediately contact the authority mentioning your problem if they allow you to upload Xerox or provide some relaxation it will be Ok. But if not you have to produce the original certificate at the time of document verification.

Hope this helps.

Shubham Dhane 29th Aug, 2020

Hello,

You are required to carry both original certificates and few sets of Xerox copies of original certificates such as your SSC Memo, class 12 certificate, caste certificate, income certificate etc. You cannot produce a soft copy of your SSC Memo. You can easily locate a stationary store and take photocopies of the original documents.

Yes dear, you must get your documents attested from gazetted officers if possible because attested certificates add more value to your documents. They are more worthy and evident which will not disappoint you in future use and it's not wrong to be future-ready.

I lost internship bhel original certificate but I have xerox is it ok to have xerox instead of original

Pritam Singh 21st Jun, 2020

Hey there

It depends on the recruiter demand see if they just want to have a soft copy of your certificate or they just want to verify by the serial number then they may agree with Xerox or otherwise sometimes recruiters may ask for original certificates to avoid forgery. You may ask for a new certificate from the company where you did internship too most of the time they are ready to help.

Good luck
