For the CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test), Zoology is considered part of the broader subject category called Life Sciences. The CSIR NET does not have a separate exam specifically for Zoology; instead, Zoology topics are covered under the Life Sciences subject.

1. Life Sciences: This is one of the five subjects offered by CSIR NET, and it includes various disciplines like Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and more.

2. Syllabus: The Life Sciences syllabus is broad and covers multiple areas. As a Zoology student, you would focus more on sections of the syllabus related to animal sciences, ecology, physiology, and related topics.

3. Study Material: When searching for study material or previous years' question papers, you'll typically find resources under the "Life Sciences" category. These resources will include questions relevant to Zoology, along with other life science topics.

4. Preparation Strategy:

- Focus on the areas of the Life Sciences syllabus that align with your Zoology background.

- Use standard Life Sciences preparation books, which cover all relevant topics.

- Solving previous years' papers under the Life Sciences category will help you get a sense of the questions related to Zoology.

Agar maine msc in zoology aur bsc general kri hui h ignou se aur spanish seekh rakhi h certificate bhi hai institute se toh kya mai as a translator work kr skti hu means job milengi???

Shrutika Wahane 13th Aug, 2024

Hello there,

Yes, you can get a job. However, it will not happen anytime soon to get a stable and well-paying job as a translator. You need to build a whole set of new skills and experience. It doesn't matter what course you have studied. You must have done a certified language course. However, recruiters look for people who are well-versed in languages. A person with BA in English or any other language will take a lead here. But, this profession is all about experience of working with several people. The more experienced you are, the higher your selection chances are. Try doing meaningful internships in the language you are well-versed in. Internships can lead to a full-time job as well. Make a strong work resume. And you will get the job you wanted.

Be patience with the process. This link will give you other vital information.

Kanishka kaushikii 11th Aug, 2024

Hello aspirant,
With a score of 209/600, even with the EWS category, securing a seat in BHU for BSc Botany, Zoology, Earth Science, or Geography might be challenging. BHU is a highly sought-after university, and the competition for these courses is intense.

You have to consider the following factors :

  • Cutoff Trends: Analyze previous year cutoffs for your desired course and category to get a better idea.
  • Reservation Policy: While EWS provides an advantage, it doesn't guarantee admission. The exact impact of the reservation can vary.
  • Course Popularity: Some courses might be more competitive than others.
