Hello Kavya.
The national average salary for a Applications Developer is Rs 5,40,367 per year in India. This salary can be far higher if you are working in Metro cities and if you have high work experience and skill. The stress in Tech jobs is usually higher than non-tech jobs, but if you love what you are doing, then everything will be manageable.
All the best!

As per your percentile in JEE Mains 2020 and considering you belong to general category, you are likely to get a rank between AIR 45,926 - AIR 56,076. You are not likely to get into any of the NITs unless you have a strong Home State quota or belong to another category. Please comment with more details so I can help you further. Good luck.

Hey Vijay!
The actual number of applicants for the Common Law Admission Test differ every year and is usually experiencing a 8-10 % increase every year. Although the official records have many caveats attached to it but previous three year participants statistics is as follows:-
CLAT 2017:- 50,676
CLAT 2018:- close to 55000
CLAT 2019:- 60,000 approximately
So, approximately 55000 to 60000 students apply for the Clat examination every year. This number is the sum of total applicants for UG courses and the PG course. So, if you want to know about the UG course, approximately 50,000 people fill the exam every year and this year too you can expect the same trend.
However, it has to be said that many of those applicants fill the exam just to have an experience of a competitive examination after class 12 and hence if you are serious enough and have prepared well for the exam then your real competition is with probably 15000- 20000 people. Now, that is not any small number to compete against but given the stature of the examination, you will have to face such competition in order to fetch a seat in the top NLUs.
Good luck!
Hey Janardhana,
After Diploma in Mechanical Engineering,
1. You can opt for short term courses like AutoCAD, Ansys, Pro/E, CNC Training, Catia, Unigraphics, etc. These courses are six months,1 year or 2 years long in some cases. The experience with the above courses has a good career ahead.
2. You can also do a full time B.Tech/BE in Mechanical engineering. Because pursuing a professional course like Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering is the best and most suitable option these days. Moreover, the pay for bachelor is much more than what is given to diploma holder. Also when you do a full time bachelor degree, dipmola holders are awarded with lateral entry which means direct admission in the second year of engineering.
3. You can also choose for post graduate diploma course in your field of interest. These courses are like Piping Design engineering, Tool Design, Robotics, Machine Maintenance , Applied Mechanics, etc.
In Job prospects,
once you get the degree in engineering you will be recruited by companies like Ford, Mahindra, General Motors, Halliburton and many more recruiters. This can happen either by campus placements or by applying on offcampus drives.
If you choose post graduate diploma course in piping. Industries like Petroleum Refinery sector, manufacturing firms, chemical industry, merchant navy, etc. have requirements for piping professionals in high demand.
Or, you can also go for junior level posts in private or government sector. There are many position for Technician, Supervisor, Junior Engineer, Clerk etc. in government sector. You can also prepare and take bank entrance exams and can work for Private and centralized banks.
The options mentioned above, based on that you can decide in which field you have your interest. Let me know if you want to know more about any specific field mentioned above.
Wish you good luck!
