I got 40 marks in psychology iam BC category can I get seat in ANU

Samriddha Pal 18th Jun, 2025

Hello,

According to the information provided for Annamalai University (AU), Chidambaram, to gain admission into a B.Sc. program (including Psychology) for Backward Class (BC) candidates, a minimum of 45% in the qualifying exam is necessary. As you have obtained 40%, you do not meet the BC category eligibility, as the minimum threshold is 45%. This indicates that you are presently ineligible for admission through the BC quota at AU.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hello,

The yearly cost for a PCMC (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science) program in well-known pre-university (PU) colleges in Bangalore typically falls between Rs 60,000 and Rs 1,03,000 annually, based on whether you are a student from the Karnataka board or from another state.

For instance, Mount Carmel PU College fees are about Rs 78,000 for Karnataka SSLC students enrolled in PCMC and roughly Rs 1,03,000 for those from different states. Jyoti Nivas PU College charges Rs 66,500 for PCMC fees, plus a Rs 1,000 eligibility fee for students from outside Karnataka.

How can i check Neet state rank 2025 Andhrapradesh

OISHEE BANERJEE 14th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant

To check your NEET 2025 state rank in Andhra Pradesh, you need to visit the official counselling website of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences. After NEET results are declared, the university will release the state merit list for Andhra Pradesh.

You can download the merit list and look for your name or NEET roll number. It will show your state rank along with other details like category and marks.

Once you know your rank, you can participate in state counselling and choose courses like MBBS, BDS, or AYUSH based on your position in the list.

What is the admission process for direct second year in B.Tech or B.E. after diploma? In Maharashtra.

OISHEE BANERJEE 14th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,

If you completed a 3-year engineering diploma in Maharashtra and want direct admission into the second year of B.Tech or B.E, this is called lateral entry and is handled through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra CET Cell/DTE.

You must have scored at least 45% overall in your diploma (or 40% if you are from a reserved category). After meeting this criterion, you need to register online during the CAP window and upload all necessary documents—diploma mark sheets, SSC and HSC marksheets, category or domicile certificates, etc.

Once your documents are verified, you’ll get a merit list. Only 10% of the total seats in the second year of each engineering branch are set aside for lateral entry. The CAP counselling will have special rounds for these seats. Your seat will be allotted based on your diploma merit rank.

Many colleges participate in this process, including government colleges like COEP and private ones like MIT-WPU, COEP tech, and others. Each college follows the same merit system for seat allotment.

Hope this helps!

I have secured 32084 rank in neet is there any chance to get govt mbbs seats from obc wuta

Aryan 17th Jun, 2025

Hi Shlok,

Generally, getting a rank below 20,000 is considered safe for getting an easy admission into an MBBS government college even with OBC category. While the admission in a government MBBS college is difficult, there are still chances in few low tier colleges as most of the government colleges of many states the max cut off for OBC ends around 25,000 rank. If you still face any issue then you may opt for private institutions.

What is the closing rank for BDS in 2025

OISHEE BANERJEE 14th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant

The closing rank for BDS in 2025 can vary a lot depending on your category and the type of college. For government BDS colleges under All India Quota, the closing rank is usually around 60,000 to 80,000 for general category, which means you’d need at least 450 to 500 marks. For OBC and other reserved categories, it can go a bit lower.

In private dental colleges, the cutoff can be much lower. Some colleges accept students even at 250 to 400 marks, especially through state quota or in later rounds of counselling. So if your score is not very high, you still might get a BDS seat, just probably not in a top government college.

Will i get govt bds in 270 marks in telangana or all india quota with sc category

OISHEE BANERJEE 14th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant!

With a score of 270 in NEET 2025 and belonging to the SC category, here’s how things stand regarding BDS admission.

You have cleared the SC qualifying marks, which generally range from 129 to 163 marks. This means you are fully eligible to participate in counselling. For government BDS seats under the All India Quota, SC students often secure admission with scores between 350 to 420. State quota cutoffs for SC can be even lower in many regions.

In your case, a score of 270 might be a bit low for the AIQ seats, but you still have a fair chance under the Telangana state quota. Government dental colleges in Telangana sometimes fill seats at scores below 300 for SC candidates, especially in the later counselling rounds.

Apart from that, you could also explore private dental colleges in Telangana. Many of them accept NEET scores in the 250 to 300 range for SC category students. If you’d like, I can help suggest a list of colleges that fit your profile based on your category and score.

All the best!

My Borther has scored 311 marks in Neet 2025, With AIR 413302 and OBC category rank 190223 belongs to UttarPradesh State. He is willing to take any BDS/BHMS/BAMS college as MBBS seems impossible and then planning to reappear in NEET 2026 in first year of college. What are the possibilities?

Aryan 17th Jun, 2025

Hi Ayush,

We understand your concern, as NEET is a very competitive exam you need at least 550 or more to get admission into a decent MBBS college not a top tier college as it would require 650 to 700 marks in NEET.

Now, it is good as you are keeping BDS/ BAMS or BHMS as backup option and then reappearing for NEET exam next year. But, be sure that you can simultaneously prepare for NEET while studying BAMS.

If you strongly feel to pursue for MBBS then you may even take a complete year drop with good preparation for 2026 NEET exam but if you want to minimize the risk, it is better to opt for BAMS/ BDS and then trying your luck again in 2026 exam. For 201 I get bhms in govt college

Aryan 17th Jun, 2025

Hi Pranali,

The score of 201 is low for government BHMS colleges and chances of getting admission there are quite slim. If you are very passionate about the Homeopathy course then you may opt for any private institution with considerably low score acceptance but you also need to know that the fees of private institutions are on higher side as compared to the government colleges.

If you can not afford the fees then you also have the option of year drop to prepare for your next NEET exam with good scores if that's viable for you.
