A NEET rank of six lakhs seventy seven thousand two hundred twenty six in SC category means admission to private medical colleges in West Bengal or elsewhere will not be possible Most private medical colleges cut off much earlier with SC category closing ranks generally around one lakh to two lakh For example state medical colleges had closing SC rank near one lakh twenty thousand to one lakh thirty thousand in previous years and private colleges likely fill before that threshold With a rank above four lakh it becomes extremely unlikely to receive a seat under SC reservation in any private medical college across India To pursue MBBS you should consider repeating NEET and aiming for a higher score or explore alternative programs in allied health sciences such as BSc Nursing BPT or Pharmacy These fields offer good career options and have lower NEET cutoff requirements
With a NEET score of one hundred and one marks under the OBC category you have cleared the minimum percentiles to qualify for counselling under reserved quotas However this score is unlikely to be sufficient to secure a management quota seat in MBBS or BDS programs in private or deemed medical colleges Management quota cutoffs typically range much higher with OBC candidates needing marks between five hundred thirty and five hundred eighty to qualify and about two thousand fifty percentile cutoffs for general seats These scores are based on past counselling trends and reflect the expected threshold for management seats with fees under the same rules You may consider attempting NEET again to improve your score or exploring other health science courses like BPT or Pharmacy through your current score
In Himachal Pradesh around twenty thousand four hundred forty seven students had registered for NEET 2025 and nearly twelve thousand eight hundred qualified overall from all categories Of these candidates the SC ST and OBC categories saw separate cutoff criteria For the ST category the expected minimum qualifying score was around one hundred twenty nine to one hundred sixty three marks which corresponds to a rank range between ninety five thousand and one lakh ten thousand These trends indicate that many ST candidates who scored above this range would have qualified However the exact number of ST students who cleared NEET in Himachal Pradesh will be available only after the state counselling authority releases the category wise merit list This list is expected soon after the final result declaration in mid June It will provide definitive numbers of qualified ST category candidates in the state
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test, known as KCET, is an important exam for students who want to join engineering colleges in Karnataka. Based on the performance in this exam, students are given admission to top colleges. There are many well-known engineering colleges in Karnataka that students aim for through KCET. Some of the top choices include RV College of Engineering, BMS College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, PES University, and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, all located in Bangalore. These colleges are famous for their good teaching, facilities, and excellent placements. Outside Bangalore, colleges like Siddaganga Institute of Technology in Tumkur and NMAM Institute of Technology in Udupi are also popular. These colleges offer different branches like computer science, electronics, mechanical, civil, and more. Students with high ranks usually get admission in computer science and electronics branches. To get admission in the best colleges, a student should aim for a high rank in KCET. The priority list is mostly based on student preferences, placement records, teaching quality, and college location. Hello ,
As per your mentioned query , generally the 12th score is based on your goal like for which course and college you are aiming for. Basically , the 12th score should be considered good when you score 70% or more . You score also depends on the competitive exam eligibility criteria demands. Always keep in your mind the eligibility criteria for which you are aiming for.

Hello aspirant ,
I hope you are absolutely fine. As per your mentioned query, kindly be more specific. I am not able to understand for which college you are asking about the accepted score. Some private colleges take direct admission on the basis of class 12th marks and some take admission on the basis of CUET marks , JEE MAINS marks.
Hello aspirant,
The cut off of general quota for government medical college is expected to be 550 which is somewhat higher than your score. So it is unlikely for you to get a government medical college seat. But, I suggest you to keep hope till last round of counselling and also take in consideration private colleges.
Best of luck for your future.
