How about mbbs from georgia? N what after mbbs from georgia?what to do next ?

gopi 4th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

For Indian and international students, an MBBS from Georgia is a good option for the students who are seeking affordable, English medium medical education abroad. Georgian medical universities are recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and listed in the World Directory of the Medical Schools (WDOMS). Many Georgian universities are also recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, permitting graduates of Georgian medical universities to appear for the FMGE/NExT exam and be licensed to practice in India.

What to do after MBBS from Georgia?

Once you have finished your MBBS from Georgia, there are many possibilities:

  1. Return to India – Appear for FMGE/NExT and clear it in order to practice in India or take-up post-graduate (MD/MS) in India.
  2. Pursue PG abroad – Appear for USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK) or AMC (Australia) to pursue PG studies and licensing.
  3. Practice in Georgia or EU – If you obtain licensure, you can work or specialize in Georgia or some of the EU countries.
  4. Research / Public health careers – Some students will make a move towards non-clinical careers; research, healthcare management or public health.

Make sure to choose NMC approved universities and start preparing for licensing examinations early so the transition after MBBS is smooth.

Jee main ke 16 percentile se lucknow aur noida, greater noida ke kin colleges mein btec mein addmission ho sakta h

Tanisha chaudhary 6th Jun, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

If your JEE Main percentile isn't particularly high, there are still opportunities available at certain private engineering colleges in cities like Lucknow and Noida.

These institutions often admit students with lower scores or offer direct admission through management quota.

  • In Lucknow, consider institutions such as Babu Banarasi Das University, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, and Amity University Lucknow.
  • For Noida and Greater Noida, options include Galgotias University, Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), GL Bajaj Institute of Technology, and Sharda University.
  • It's advisable to consult the official websites of these colleges or contact their admission offices directly for the most current information regarding their admission processes for candidates with low JEE Main percentiles.
  • Admission criteria and procedures can change from year to year, so obtaining up-to-date details from the institutions themselves is the most reliable approach.

private quota vs other quota in Karnataka

SEJAL JAIN 4th Jun, 2025

Hello

In Karnataka, college admissions are divided mainly into Private Quota and Other Quotas like Government Quota. The Private Quota seats are available mostly in private unaided colleges and are open to students from all over India. These seats come with higher tuition fees and less government subsidy. Admissions under this quota are usually based on entrance exams like NEET for medical courses or CET/COMEDK for engineering. Students opting for private quota should be prepared for significantly higher fees compared to government quota seats.

On the other hand, the Government Quota seats are reserved primarily for students who are domiciled in Karnataka. These seats are subsidized by the government, making the fees much lower and more affordable. Admission to government quota seats is based on merit through state-level entrance exams such as KCET or NEET, depending on the course. Additionally, there are other categories like Management Quota and NRI Quota, which generally have higher fees and different eligibility criteria, but the main difference lies between private quota’s higher fees and open eligibility versus government quota’s subsidized fees and domicile restrictions.
