i have lost my roll number ,how can i find ?

sadafreen356 25th Jul, 2025

If you've lost your roll number, the first step is to check your admit card, if you have it. If not, you can usually find it on the exam conducting body's official website, often through a roll number finder tool that requires your name, date of birth, and other details.

If online methods fail, contact the exam authorities directly or visit their office with relevant documents like ID proof.

in cet 43 percentile which college get

Ayush Madanpotra 26th Jul, 2025

If you got 43 percentile in CET exam, then it means your rank is around 53000 to 59000. With this rank, you may not get top engineering colleges or popular branches like Computer Science or IT in big cities like Pune or Mumbai. But still, you can get admission in private engineering colleges or in less competitive branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.

Some colleges that may offer you admission at this percentile are colleges in Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Palghar, and Amravati. For example, colleges like KDK Nagpur, MIT Aurangabad, DY Patil Kolhapur, Priyadarshini JL College Nagpur, and Sharad Institute Kolhapur have given admission at this level in past years. Mostly, you will get Mechanical, Civil or Electrical branches. In some small colleges, you may also get Computer Science or IT if there are empty seats in later rounds.

But placements and teaching quality may not be very high in these colleges, so it's better to check the college reviews, placement record, and facilities before taking admission.

If you belong to OBC category, your chances improve slightly, and you may get better colleges compared to open category students with same percentile.

You should wait for CAP Round 2, 3 or even spot round, because some students leave their seats and you may get better options.

Yes, a B.Tech in IT from Techno International New Town (TINT) can be a good option, especially considering the college's placement record and its location in the New Town area of Kolkata, which is close to IT hubs.

TINT has a dedicated placement cell that works to attract companies from various sectors, including IT. Can I get admission without cuet exam

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hi Rohitso!

Yes, it is possible to get admission into many colleges without giving CUET, but it depends on which university or course you’re applying for.

Some top central universities like Delhi University, BHU, JNU, and Allahabad University have made CUET compulsory for UG admission. But many private universities, state universities, and autonomous colleges are still giving admissions through direct merit-based through your class 12 boards marks or their own entrance tests.

If you are not comfortable with CUET or didn’t appear, you can consider colleges like:

  1. Lovely Professional University
  2. Amity University
  3. Shiv Nadar University
  4. Christ University (through their entrance)

Just make sure to check the admission process of the specific college you’re targeting. They’ll mention whether CUET is compulsory or not. Also, diploma courses and skill-based programs don’t usually need CUET either.

All the best!

Mai CMP degree college mein BSc bio mein admission Lena chahta hun mera Cuet mein 100 se bhi kam number aaya Hai Kya Mera admission ho jaega

Nikita shahi 26th Jul, 2025

Hii,

CMP Degree College (laffiliated with Allahabad University offers BSc Bio admissions through CUET UG scores, and the competition for bio stream seats is quite high. Since your CUET score is below 100, it might be difficult to get into the first few merit lists.

However, don’t lose hope. CMP also considers later cutoff lists and reserved category relaxations. If you belong to a reserved category (OBC/SC/ST) or EWS, your chances improve. Keep an eye on the official cutoff lists released by the college.

If CMP doesn't work out, consider applying to other constituent or associated colleges of Allahabad University like Ewing Christian College or Iswar Saran Degree College, where the cutoffs may be slightly lower.

i got 14356 rank in ap eamcet bipc stream can I get seat in pharm d course for free?

Nikita shahi 26th Jul, 2025

Hi Charan!

With a rank of 14,356 in AP EAMCET BiPC, you have a fair chance of getting a seat in Pharm D under Category-A (government quota), especially in private colleges across Andhra Pradesh. However, getting it for completely free (zero fees) is very rare unless you qualify for full fee reimbursement under fee waiver schemes and belong to BC/SC/ST/EWS.

Colleges where you can expect a seat include:

  • Siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (for girls)

Be sure to register and participate actively in all phases of AP EAMCET counseling and upload the necessary income and caste certificates to be considered for fee reimbursement.

Thank you!

which college is better for cs, gogte college belgum or sdm college Dharwad

Nikita shahi 26th Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Both Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), Belgaum, and SDM College of Engineering, Dharwad, are reputable institutions, but when it comes to Computer Science, GIT Belgaum tends to have a slight edge in terms of placement, industry exposure, and infrastructure.

GIT is known for its strong placement cell, coding culture, and ties with software companies. The faculty is tech-savvy, and you can get more opportunities for internships and coding competitions. On the other hand, SDM Dharwad is well-disciplined, has a good academic environment, and decent placements, but may not be as dynamic in CS-specific activities.

If placements and technical events are your priority, go for GIT. If you're looking for a calm, structured environment with strong academic support, SDM is also a good.

Wishing you all the best!

I got 500 marks in neet ews category jharkhand can I get a government mbbs seat

Ayush Madanpotra 26th Jul, 2025

You got 500 marks in NEET exam under EWS category and you are from Jharkhand. With this score, your chances of getting a government MBBS seat in Jharkhand through state quota are very low.

In the past years, the cutoff for EWS category in government colleges of Jharkhand has been around 610 to 630 marks. RIMS Ranchi and other government colleges usually have high cutoffs. For example, RIMS Ranchi had a cutoff of about 636 marks for EWS category in 2024.

Your score of 500 is much lower than the expected cutoff, so it is unlikely that you will get admission in a government MBBS college in Jharkhand through state quota.

But you are still eligible to register for state counselling. You can try for private or deemed universities in Jharkhand or in nearby states where the cutoffs are lower. You should also register for All India Quota counselling through MCC, in case you want to explore other options across India.

So, while government seat chances are very low, you may still have options in private colleges.
