In gujrat how much marks we need for get admissions in b.a.m.s in government collage in sebc category with state rank require? Please suggest

Yash Teotia 5th Aug, 2025

Hello Reena

For getting admission in BAMS (Government College), it is recommended to have at least 400-440 marks in NEET for SEBC candidates to have a realistic chance in getting a seat. So above 400 marks is a safe score.

A state rank of 2,500 - 3,500 is usually required for a SEBC candidate to get BAMS in a government college.

My rank is 16666 oc student with ews can I get Anurag university in THIRD counselling for IT branch

Nikita shahi 5th Aug, 2025

Hii,

With a rank of 16666 in the open category and belonging to the EWS quota, there is a moderate to good chance of securing admission into the IT branch at Anurag University during the third round of counselling, especially if previous rounds see a lot of students moving to better options. However, this also depends on the seat vacancy status and cut-off trends from earlier rounds. IT is a relatively in-demand branch, so keeping backup options ready is highly recommended. Keep tracking the official TS EAMCET/ECET counselling portal for updated cutoffs and seat allotments.

Thank you!

I want to become astronaut and also pursue an MS abroad. My question is: According to my goal ,which branch should I choose -EC in pes ec or Al and ML in jss bengalpore

gopi 5th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you want to be an astronaut and want to do an MS abroad, it is better to focus on a stream that has technical foundation and research opportunities. Here is your option:

  • ECE at PES University has good foundation in electronics, communication and embedded systems - all of which is relevant in space technology, avionics, robotics etc. PES has a better brand, better research exposure and globally tie-up which will help for MS abroad.
  • AI & ML at JSS Bengaluru is a hot stream and useful but JSS is not comparable to PES in terms of overall exposure, alumni network and brand globally. Also AI/ML fits more with data science and software rather than core astronautics.

i got rank 3202 in ap lawcet, but will the rank i got get me a free seat?

Nikita shahi 5th Aug, 2025

Hi,

A rank of 3202 in AP LAWCET is decent and may help you secure a seat in government or aided law colleges, especially if you fall under a reservation category like BC, SC, ST, or EWS. However, whether you get a free seat (full tuition waiver) depends on your category and financial background. Government law colleges have low fees anyway, but tuition fee waivers are typically given to economically weaker students (EWS/BPL) or those eligible under fee reimbursement schemes in Andhra Pradesh.

Hii ! Im sakthi ! I written pgcet exam in June 22 ! Im expecting my score was 43 in pgcet exam ! Im registered myself as GM category ! And Im from other state student ! Can anyone tell me about can I get an government college in Bangalore ? With the score of 43 and category of GM and my CGPA 80

Nikita shahi 5th Aug, 2025

Hello,

With a PGCET score of 43 and being a GM (General Merit) candidate from another state, your chances of getting into a top-tier government college in Bangalore are limited, as seats in these institutions are very competitive. Government colleges prioritize Karnataka domicile students, and very high cutoffs are expected for GM category. You might still get a chance in lower-tier government-aided colleges or private colleges with good reputation. It’s advisable to consider:

  • Bangalore Institute of Technology
  • PES College of Engineering (non-autonomous)
  • Siddaganga Institute of Technology (Tumkur)

Also, be sure to check KEA counselling rules for Non-Karnataka students.

Best of luck!

Can you notify me about spot counselling in AIIMS

Nikita shahi 5th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Spot counselling for AIIMS (MBBS) is usually conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) after all regular rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up) are completed. For the 2025 session, spot counselling notifications will be released on the MCC official website. You need to register separately for it and be physically present at the venue (usually AIIMS Delhi). It’s best to regularly check MCC notifications or subscribe to alerts on their portal for instant updates.

Best of luck!
