Hi I recently gave my neet and now my neet counselling process is going on. I have by mistakenly selected the ews category but I dont fall in this category and now in the documents section the ews certificate is asked what should I do now??? Will I be disqualified??? In place of that what should I upload now??

Chelsie G 5th Aug, 2025

If you’ve mistakenly selected the EWS category but don’t actually belong to it, don’t worry you won’t be disqualified just for that. During the document verification process, your category will be treated as General if you don’t upload a valid EWS certificate. So instead of uploading any wrong or fake document, just leave that section blank or upload a declaration saying you don’t belong to EWS. In most cases, your application will simply be shifted to General category and you’ll still be eligible for counselling under that. Just make sure you’re honest and don’t upload any false certificate.

i am a girl my ebc rank is 2411 and ur rabj is 8035 from joint rank card pcb can i get admission in b pharmacy for government college

OISHEE BANERJEE 4th Aug, 2025

With an EBC rank of 2411 and a general rank of 8035 in PCB stream from the Joint Entrance rank card, your chances of getting admission to a government B.Pharmacy college are fair, but it will depend on a few key factors:

  1. State and Quota: If you're applying in your home state and under EBC category, your category rank will be considered during seat allotment, which gives you an advantage.

  2. Cutoffs Vary: Government B.Pharm cutoffs for EBC category often go up to 2500–3000 in some states, so you are close to the safer zone. However, more competitive colleges may close earlier.

  3. Rounds Matter: If you don’t get a seat in Round 1, keep applying for Round 2 and Mop-Up, as seats often open up due to withdrawals.

  4. College Preferences: Opt for slightly less in-demand government colleges or those in semi-urban areas for a better chance.

I have uploaded my centralized obc-ncl certificate which contains all the important criteria and eligibility but the format is in my state form is it any issues

OISHEE BANERJEE 5th Aug, 2025

If your OBC-NCL certificate is valid, recent, and contains all the required details such as:

  • Caste name

  • Non-creamy layer status

  • Category clearly mentioned as OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)

  • Issuing authority

  • Date of issue (usually should be within the last year)

  • Recognition under the Central OBC list

Then it is generally accepted, even if the format is in your state’s style, as long as it is valid for central purposes.

However, if the authorities had specifically asked for the certificate in a central government-prescribed format, you might be asked to re-upload or submit it during document verification.

I have uploaded my obc-ncl certificate which is a centralized one contains all criteria except the format its in my state format for iiser counselling is there any issues

Chelsie G 5th Aug, 2025

If your OBC NCL certificate includes all the required details like income limit, caste validity, and central OBC recognition but is in your state’s format and not in the specific format prescribed by IISER, it may still be considered valid initially. However, IISER usually asks for the certificate in their given format during verification. So to avoid any issues, it’s better to get the certificate re issued in the correct central government format as soon as possible. This way, you’ll be safe during the document verification phase.

Yash Teotia 4th Aug, 2025

Hello Maanav

With a rank of 19,000 and SC rank of 400, there is a chance of getting Mumbai colleges in AIQ Counselling.

For top Mumbai Colleges, the closing rank is around 14,000 - 16,000 AIR. But there are spot rounds and mop up rounds which would help to get those top colleges for a 19,000 rank student.

Ballb Central University me admission for cuet se ug me

SEJAL JAIN 4th Aug, 2025

Hello

Yes, admission to BALLB (Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws) in many Central Universities is done through the CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test). If you’re interested in pursuing BALLB, you must appear for CUET UG and select universities offering the course. After the results are out, admissions are based on your CUET score and university-specific cut-offs. It’s important to check each university’s eligibility criteria, subject combinations, and counselling process.

Please tell me wheather i selected or not i scored 60%in saat exam round 2 for BSC nursing

Ankur Mehta 5th Aug, 2025

if you scored 60% in SAAT round 2 for BSc Nursing, then selection depends on the cutoff and available seats. Usually, the cutoff is around 60–65%, so you might have a chance. Better check the counselling result or allotment list to confirm.
