EWS certificate is valid only for one financial year (from 1st April to 31st March).
So, if you have an EWS certificate for 2023-24, it cannot be used for 2024-25 or 2025-26.

You need to apply for a fresh EWS certificate every year whenever you need it.
It cannot be carried forward or skipped for one year and then renewed later.

So yes, you must get a new certificate issued for 2025-26 when required.

The CBSE Class 12 syllabus for 2026 is based on the 2025-26 academic session. Students can choose subjects according to their stream:

Science Stream – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Computer Science/IT, and English.
Commerce Stream – Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics (optional), and English.

but dont worry still you have chance for admission is through your state's 85% quota, as state cutoffs can be lower due to a smaller number of candidates.

To maximize your chances, register for counseling in all states where you are eligible and keep your options open to both government and private colleges.you can also try in mop up rounds.
