The DOST special phase, which is now in progress, is probably going to come before the intra college phase of DOST 2025. Web choices are available from August 7th to August 14th during the DOST special period, and seats are allocated on August 17th. After that, students who have previously reserved seats will have the chances to switch their course, combination, aur media within the same college during the inter College phase.

If you have uploaded the Central OBC certificate instead of the State OBC certificate in your UPSI 2025 form, it may create a problem because UPSI recruitment generally requires the State OBC certificate issued by the state government. Using the wrong certificate could lead to rejection at the time of document verification.
what you can do is,

Keep the correct State OBC certificate ready before the document verification stage. If the application correction window is provided, update it with the proper certificate. If correction is not allowed, don’t worry you will usually be asked to produce the correct documents at verification. If you fail to provide the valid state certificate, your candidature may be treated under the General category instead of OBC, but your form won’t be outright cancelled.

Yes, if you were allotted a seat in KCET Round 1 but didn’t exercise any option (freeze/float/withdraw), KEA treats it as “no choice entered”, which means you forfeit that Round 1 seat. However, you are still eligible for Round 2, but not as a fresh candidate. You’ll be treated as a candidate who skipped choice entry in Round 1, so you can enter fresh options in Round 2, but your Round 1 seat is gone.

If you are studying in Class 11 Commerce under WBBSE board, then admission to NIT Durgapur is not possible. NITs offer admission mainly to B.Tech programs through the JEE Main exam, which requires Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 10+2. Since you are from the Commerce stream, you are not eligible for JEE Main. However, after Commerce you can choose other good options like B.Com, BBA, CA, CS, CMA, MBA or reputed universities and colleges for commerce-related courses.
