Hello aspirant,
Both Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), Belgaum, and SDM College of Engineering, Dharwad, are reputable institutions, but when it comes to Computer Science, GIT Belgaum tends to have a slight edge in terms of placement, industry exposure, and infrastructure.
GIT is known for its strong placement cell, coding culture, and ties with software companies. The faculty is tech-savvy, and you can get more opportunities for internships and coding competitions. On the other hand, SDM Dharwad is well-disciplined, has a good academic environment, and decent placements, but may not be as dynamic in CS-specific activities.
If placements and technical events are your priority, go for GIT. If you're looking for a calm, structured environment with strong academic support, SDM is also a good.
Wishing you all the best!
You got 500 marks in NEET exam under EWS category and you are from Jharkhand. With this score, your chances of getting a government MBBS seat in Jharkhand through state quota are very low.
In the past years, the cutoff for EWS category in government colleges of Jharkhand has been around 610 to 630 marks. RIMS Ranchi and other government colleges usually have high cutoffs. For example, RIMS Ranchi had a cutoff of about 636 marks for EWS category in 2024.
Your score of 500 is much lower than the expected cutoff, so it is unlikely that you will get admission in a government MBBS college in Jharkhand through state quota.
But you are still eligible to register for state counselling. You can try for private or deemed universities in Jharkhand or in nearby states where the cutoffs are lower. You should also register for All India Quota counselling through MCC, in case you want to explore other options across India.
So, while government seat chances are very low, you may still have options in private colleges.

You got 81 percentile in MH CET 5-year law exam as an OMS (Outside Maharashtra) student and you are female. With this score, it is very difficult to get admission into top government colleges like Government Law College (GLC) Mumbai or ILS Pune, because these colleges usually take students with more than 99 percentile from OMS category.
But you can still get admission into some private law colleges in Mumbai. These colleges may accept 81 percentile for OMS students. Some of these options are:
KC Law College, Churchgate GJ Advani Law College, Bandra Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Law, Chembur
These colleges are under Mumbai University and have decent facilities. You may also get admission in private law colleges in Pune, Nagpur, and other cities in Maharashtra, which accept scores in the 70 to 80 percentile range.
You should still apply and check the cut-off marks during the counselling process. Also, keep checking the official website for updates.

If your EAMCET rank is around 84,000 and you want to take admission in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), then getting a top or government college is not possible. This is because CSE seats in top colleges usually get filled by students who have ranks below 10,000.
But still, you can get admission in private colleges which accept higher ranks. These colleges may not be as famous, but they still offer the CSE branch. Some examples are Aditya Engineering College, Vignan Institute, B V Chalamaiah Engineering College, and some other private colleges. These colleges often allow admission in CSE for students with ranks like yours.
You may not get CSE in well-known colleges, but you can try for other branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical, as these branches have more seats and lower cut-off ranks.
You can also try for CSE during spot rounds or through management quota in private colleges.

You got 305 marks in NEET 2025. You have passed the exam, because the qualifying marks are around 144. So you are eligible for counselling.
But to get a seat in a government MBBS college, your marks should be much higher. For general and EWS category, you need around 570 to 600 marks. For OBC category, you need around 530 to 580 marks. SC and ST students may get seats with 480 to 500 marks.
So with 305 marks, your chance of getting a government medical college is very low. It is almost not possible in All India Quota or state quota.
But you can still try for private or deemed universities. These colleges may accept students with 300 to 350 marks, especially in management or NRI quota. You can check with your state counselling authority or MCC website.

College of Engineering Pune (COEP) is one of the top government engineering colleges in Maharashtra. It takes students through JEE Main for all India quota and MHT CET for Maharashtra state students.
If you got 85 percentile in JEE Main, then your rank will be around 1,50,000 or more. COEP usually takes students with higher percentiles. For top branches like Computer Science or IT, the JEE Main cutoff percentile is usually around 98 or more. Even for other branches, COEP prefers students with percentiles above 95.
So with 85 percentile, it is very difficult to get any branch in COEP through JEE Main. You may try for other colleges or through state quota if you are eligible under MHT CET.
official website: https://coeptech.ac.in/
Yes, you will get admission in COEP through JEE MAINS, COEP admits students through MHT- CET and JEE MAINS.80% of seats filled through MHT- CET and 20% seats are filled through JEE MAIN . You can apply to COEP through JEE MAIN and participate in CAP rounds.
Your EAPCET rank is 43,435 and you want to get admission in Vasavi College of Engineering in CSE or CSE specialisations like AI and ML.
With this rank, you will not be able to get the regular CSE branch in Vasavi, because its closing rank is around 36,000.
But there is a good chance that you can get CSE specialisation like AI and ML. In previous years, the cutoff rank for CSE (AI & ML) went up to around 61,000. So your rank is within that range.
If you are trying in the second round or further rounds, there are still chances for CSE AI & ML in Vasavi. But for regular CSE, the chances are very low.

Hii,
If you’re aiming for top-tier colleges for chemical engineering in Maharashtra, here are some great options to consider:
For admission to most of these colleges except ICT, you’ll need a good score in MHT CET, and the cutoffs can vary depending on your category, branch, and the round. Keep an eye on CAP rounds by DTE Maharashtra.
Good luck on your engineering journey!
