what happens if we not did our registration for mbbs can we another chance

SHUBHANGI SINHA 17th Aug, 2025

Hello,

You can still register for later rounds if they are open, but you might not be able to take part in that specific round if you miss the MBBS counselling registration. As long as you haven't enrolled in a college in a prior round, missing the first round does not automatically disqualify you from the full counselling process.

My marks is 112 and iam SC category , but by mistake i filled my application as OBC(Ncl ) . MY score is 18.1738204 . My doubt is the pass mark is 120 for all categories ,reserved category pass mark is 105 . wheather iam eligible in doing JRF or Asistant professor in private universities or hosp

Chelsie G 18th Aug, 2025

If you scored 112 marks and belong to the SC category, then you would have qualified since the cutoff for SC is 105 marks. But because you mistakenly filled the form as OBC , your score is compared with the OBC cutoff, which is 120 marks, and that makes you ineligible as per the filled category.

So technically, you will not be treated as qualified in this attempt under OBC, even though your marks are above the SC cutoff. For eligibility as JRF or Assistant Professor, you need to officially qualify the exam under your correct category. For private universities or hospitals, some may allow you based on your degree and qualification, but for official UGC recognition, you will need to reapply with the correct category and clear the cutoff.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out!

There is this College in Vasai named St. Gonsalo Garcia College, that offers Bsc, IT and the eligibility criteria mentioned in their website is just HSC (+2) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune. If you've done your HSC from other board, then you need to produce an eligibility certificate.

So, you can check with them for BSc, IT. Hopefully, you'll get into it.

Prachi Kumari 13th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for the 85% state quota counselling in Maharashtra.

  • You have a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate, which is a key requirement.

  • You have completed Class 10 and Class 12 in Maharashtra, even though the boards are CBSE and NIOS. Completing both in the state meets the educational criteria.

So, you can apply for the 85% state quota seats in NEET counselling for Maharashtra .

Hope it helps !

My name is akhina and I am from trivandrum and my neet state rank is 24661 and i am obc category. Should I get admission.

Simran Vohra 13th Aug, 2025

Hello!

So according to your NEET rank that is 24,661 and you belong to OBC category it is difficult for you to get a government MBBS seat because the ranks usually closed around 5000-8000 and your is way above that.

You can still try in BDS government seats through your OBC quota. You can also get admission into AYUSH courses like BAMS or BHMS. Make sure to attend to attend all rounds of counselling to get a better seat as ranks usually drops in later rounds.  You can also try in private colleges but the fees will be higher.

Kavya S P 13th Aug, 2025

With the rank for 24661 it is not possible to get admission from the govt college with the lower cut off and if you are looking for private college with the rank you can get admission based your neet marks you should consider the neet counselling and take private college of possible
