Can I change my collge in third year?

Abhi sonkar 7th Aug, 2025

good afternoon, changing your college in the third year of a undergraduate program is generally not allowed in India. Most universities and colleges do not permit transfers after the second year because the curriculum, credit system, and internal assessments vary widely between institutions. If you’re already in your third year, you would typically need to complete your degree at the same college where you started.

However, transfers are sometimes possible after the first year or second semester, especially within the same university or under special circumstances like medical issues, relocation, or financial hardship. Even then, you must:

Have no active backlogs in previous semesters.

Get a Transfer Certificate (TC) and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current college.

Ensure the receiving college accepts mid-course transfers, which is rare.

if you're considering a switch due to better labs or curriculum at another college you may need to restart from the first year, which means repeating coursework and extending your graduation timeline

I have to prepare for GATE EE 2026. So can you guide me how to prepare for this Examination.

Ayush Madanpotra 7th Aug, 2025

To prepare for GATE EE 2026, you need to follow a simple and smart study plan. First, understand the exam pattern. GATE EE has three parts. General Aptitude is for 15 marks, Engineering Mathematics is for around 13 marks, and the core Electrical Engineering subjects cover 72 marks.

Start by reading the official syllabus so you know what topics are there. Make a proper timetable. Divide your study time for each subject. Give more time to the subjects that you find difficult.

Use standard books for each subject. For example, you can study Electrical Machines from P.S. Bimbhra, Power Systems from C.L. Wadhwa, Control Systems from Nagrath and Gopal, and Signals and Systems from Oppenheim. For Aptitude, you can use RS Aggarwal or any GATE-specific book.

Start your preparation with General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics because they are easy to score and will boost your marks. Then focus on the core subjects one by one. Always make notes while studying. These notes will help you revise quickly later.

Solve previous year GATE question papers. This will help you understand what kind of questions are asked. Also, take mock tests and topic-wise tests regularly. This will improve your speed and accuracy.

Make a habit of revising everything you study. Write down important formulas and keep reading them again and again. In the last three months before the exam, start giving full-length mock tests every week. Check your mistakes and try not to repeat them.

Be regular with your studies. Even if you study for a few hours daily, it will make a big difference. Stay focused and believe in yourself. You can do well if you are consistent.

Hi, why should I do an MBA certification if I have joined a private job

Prachi Kumari 7th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Doing an MBA certification while working in a private job can be helpful for many reasons:

  1. Better career growth – It can help you get promotions or leadership roles.

  2. Higher salary – Many companies offer better pay to MBA-certified employees.

  3. Skill improvement – You learn about management, finance, marketing, etc.

  4. More job options – It opens doors to better jobs in other companies too.

  5. Networking – You meet professionals from different fields, which can help in future.

So, even if you are working, an MBA certification can give you a big career boost.

Hope it helps !

i didnt get seat allotment in 1st or 2nd phase ap eamcet. i want to persue degree . are there any seats available by that time ? will they allow me to join

Ayush Madanpotra 7th Aug, 2025

Yes, if you did not get a seat in the first or second phase of AP EAMCET counselling, you still have a chance to join a degree course.

All the seats do not get filled in the first two phases. The remaining seats will be available in the third phase. You can take part in the third round of counselling if you did not get a seat earlier or if you cancelled your previous allotment.

After the main counselling rounds, there is usually a spot admission round. In this round, you can get a seat directly in the college if seats are still available. This round is often based on first-come, first-served.

So yes, seats will still be available by that time, and yes, you will be allowed to join through the next counselling rounds or spot admission.

In ap EAPCET counselling if the seat is alloted in 2nd counselling, then 1st counselling seat cancelled automatically or it cancel if I take any action

Rajesh Reddy 7th Aug, 2025

In AP EAPCET counseling, in case you are allotted a seat in the 2nd round counseling then your seat would be automatically canceled in the 1st round only on reporting to the 2nd round seat.

This is how it goes:
Your 1st round seat will still be valid in case you do not do anything about it (i.e.  do not report or pay the 2nd round seat).

Assuming you accept the 2nd round seat (which would require payment of the fee/reporting), The 1st round seat will be cancelled, no further action is required.

Thus, the cancelation will depend on what you do. When you like your 1st round  seat, you need not bother about the 2nd around allotment.
