If you want to pursue B. Com LLB through CUET, there are several good universities in India that accept CUET scores for law and integrated commerce-law programmes and also offer hostel facilities for outstation students. Many central and state universities have started using the CUET score as part of their admission process to ensure a uniform and transparent selection. In terms of reputation, academic quality and overall student experience, universities like Banaras Hindu University (Faculty of Law), University of Delhi (some colleges offering integrated law programmes), Gauhati University, Barkatullah University, Mahatma Gandhi University and others include B. Com LLB or integrated law courses and consider CUET for shortlisting candidates. These universities usually have established law faculties, experienced faculty members and dedicated law departments that ensure comprehensive coverage of foundational subjects in commerce, law and legal reasoning.
Hostel facilities at these universities vary in terms of capacity and amenities, but most central and state universities provide residential options for both boys and girls with basic to good accommodation, mess facilities, study areas and security. Older and larger universities tend to have larger and more organised hostels, while newer campuses may still be developing infrastructure. Before applying, it’s a good idea to check the specific university’s prospectus or admission brochure to understand hostel fees, application process for hostel seats and whether you need to apply for hostel separately after securing admission.
When you shortlist universities, also consider factors such as faculty strength, moot court and internship opportunities, law library access, student support services and placement record for law graduates. Many students choose universities that balance academic quality with good living conditions, because both aspects contribute to a positive law school experience. All the best.

Hello
Getting Bihar question papers from 2000 to 2025 in one single file is not really possible, because they are stored year-wise and exam-wise. For very old papers (2000–2010), coaching books and guides are the best source. If you practice the last 5 years papers, then they will help you more because some syllabus is changed, some chapters get deleted and updated information you will get from these papers only.
As papers from the past 5 years are available on the link I am attaching below, you can click on that link and access all the papers from previous years.

With a CLAT PG rank of 1257 in the SC category and being a woman candidate with Rajasthan domicile, you do have a realistic chance of securing admission to several National Law Universities, though the top NLUs may be difficult at this rank. Admission chances depend heavily on category-wise cut-offs, domicile reservations, and how many seats are available in a given year. For top-tier NLUs like NLSIU Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad, or NLUD, the closing ranks for SC category usually fall much lower, so chances there are minimal. However, you should definitely consider mid- and lower-ranked NLUs where SC category cut-offs often extend beyond 1200–1500 ranks.
You should prioritise NLUs that offer domicile or state quota benefits, especially those closer to your home state or neighbouring regions. National Law University Jodhpur (if applicable under domicile or category movement), Hidayatullah National Law University Raipur, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University Lucknow, Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar, Maharashtra National Law University (Nagpur or Aurangabad), National Law University Odisha, and Tamil Nadu National Law University are some options where candidates in the SC category with similar ranks have secured seats in previous counselling rounds. Lower-tier NLUs like Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Himachal Pradesh National Law University, and Dharmashastra National Law University can also be kept in your preference list as safer options.
Your strategy should be to keep a wide preference list during counselling, placing mid-ranked NLUs first and then moving to lower NLUs, rather than restricting yourself only to a few choices. Also, stay active during subsequent counselling rounds and vacancy rounds, as many seats in the SC category are filled later due to withdrawals. Overall, while top NLUs may be tough, you have a fair chance of getting into a decent NLU if you plan your preferences smartly and remain flexible.
If your son is currently studying BTech at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, and is already in the 5th semester, then moving to another university in Delhi through lateral entry into the 2nd year of CSE is unfortunately not a practical option at this stage. Lateral entry admissions in BTech are generally meant only for candidates who have completed a diploma or BSc and are seeking admission directly into the 2nd year, or for students who have completed only the first year of engineering. Most universities and colleges in Delhi, including DTU, NSUT, IIIT-Delhi and IP University–affiliated colleges, do not allow branch change or lateral migration from a private university to CSE after multiple semesters have already been completed elsewhere.
Additionally, Delhi universities do not offer an inter-university transfer route for students who are already in the third year or beyond. Admissions to CSE in these institutions are strictly regulated through entrance exams like JEE Main or CET-based counselling at the first-year level, and lateral entry seats are very limited and governed by specific eligibility rules. Since your son has already crossed the lateral entry window and his original branch has been changed internally at Thapar, external lateral entry into CSE in Delhi is not permitted.
At this point, more realistic alternatives would be to continue and complete the current BTech degree and then shift focus towards a career transition through higher studies such as MTech in CSE-related specialisations, data science, AI, or electronics-software integrated fields, provided he builds the required coding and computer science foundation. Another option is to work on programming skills, certifications and internships alongside his current branch to move into software or IT roles during placements. These paths are commonly taken by students from non-CSE branches and are generally more feasible than attempting a late lateral transfer.
You may still check directly with individual universities for confirmation, but based on current admission rules, lateral entry into BTech CSE in Delhi after the 5th semester is not available.
