Sir me pcb se passout hu 12th me muje air force me jana hai toh flying branch ke liye maths and physics compulsory hai aur mere pass maths nhi hai toh me nios(open board) se maths add kr apply kr skta hu kya flying branch ke liye air force me please reply Pr sir 2 marksheet ho jayegi 1.pcb fr

Prachi Kumari 14th Oct, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can add Mathematics through NIOS (open board) and then apply for the Indian Air Force Flying Branch .

For the Flying Branch, Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects at the 10+2 level. Since you passed 12th with PCB, you can take Mathematics as an additional subject from NIOS.

You will then have two marksheets :

  1. Your first 12th marksheet (with PCB)

  2. Your NIOS marksheet (with Mathematics)

This is completely acceptable , as long as both marksheets are from recognized boards (and NIOS is a valid board).

When you apply for the Air Force, you will need to submit both marksheets to show that you have studied Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.

Hope it helps !

Aadesh Sharma 10th Oct, 2025

Ma'am,

Depending on the type of school which want your wards to enroll in the admission process and timing could vary. Oct-Dec is the time general registrations and Jan-Feb the draws are taken out. So the opening date of admission of any school significantly varies. You need to check with the institution you choose to enroll your wards in. However, organically there is a trend that public schools take admissions during the start of the new session i.e starting from Mar-Apr. For more information regarding government schools, you might need to visit one

Preparing books for learning JEE main

Sajal Trivedi 8th Oct, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Start with NCERT in every subject for JEE Main.  For physics, use H.C. Verma and D.C. Pandey; for chemistry, use R.C. Mukherjee and O.P. Tandon; and for mathematics, use R.D. Sharma or Cengage.  J.D. Lee assists with inorganic chemistry, while Morrison & Boyd assists with organic chemistry.  Practice chapter-by-chapter Arihant or MTG past year's papers.  For efficient preparation, concentrate on clear concepts, frequent revision, and passing practice exams.
