can we get scolarship benifit in 1st year after taking admission in 1st year in another college

Rahul Mandal 7th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can get a scholarship when you switch to a new college. But it may depend on the scholarships and the college policy if they allow you this condition. So, in this scenario, you can contact the scholarship provider and inform them about your situation, and then they will potentially reapply or update your application for this institution.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Can I get BAMS with 287 marks with obc ncl category through state quota U.P.

Anannya sarma 11th Aug, 2025

Since cut-offs are typically higher, there are few chances of getting admitted to top government colleges as a BAMS student with 287 points in the NEET and OBC-NCL categories under the U.P. state quota.
However, under state quota, you might be admitted to private BAMS colleges or lower-ranked government BAMS colleges in rural areas.
Every year, the cut off changes based on competition, seats, and difficulty.

To increase your chances, you should also apply during AYUSH counselling rounds.
You can get a better idea of potential colleges by looking at cut-offs from prior years.

What is mitosis and meiosis process

Anushree Thakare 7th Aug, 2025

Hello student,

Mitosis and meiosis are both types of cell division, but they serve different purposes.

Mitosis is the process of cell division that results in two identical daughter cells, used for growth and repair of the body.

Meiosis, on the other hand, produces four genetically unique daughter cells, each with half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell, and is essential for sexual reproduction.

Im applying for a DGCA computer number. The portal asks for 10th and 12th admit card numbers. I studied under the Karnataka board but no longer have the admit cards or remember the numbers. How can I retrieve them? Is there any alternative to proceed without them in this process?

Ayush Madanpotra 8th Aug, 2025

For the DGCA computer number application, the 10th and 12th admit card numbers are usually taken from your original board exam hall tickets. Since you studied under the Karnataka board and no longer have them or remember the numbers, you can try the following:

First, check your SSLC (10th) marks card and 2nd PUC (12th) marks card. In many Karnataka board certificates, the “Register Number” or “Roll Number” printed on the marks card is the same as your admit card number. You can use that in the DGCA form.

If the numbers are not printed there, you can contact your school or college where you studied. They normally keep student records and can check the register number used during your board exams.

You can also contact the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) for SSLC and the Department of Pre-University Education for PUC. They can retrieve your register number from their archives if you give them your name, school, year of passing, and date of birth.

If you still cannot find the numbers, you can write to DGCA through the portal’s helpdesk or email, explaining that you do not have the admit cards and request them to accept your register number from marksheets or give an alternative method, such as uploading a notarized affidavit along with your marks cards.
