I get in 12 boards 49% Mhtcet:- 68 percentile OBC branches:- cse,it,ai,ml,ds Location:- pune Which colleges could I target for BTech admission

Samriddha Pal 19th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a 49% in your 12th boards and a 68 percentile in MHT CET 2025, along with your OBC category, you stand a reasonable chance of gaining admission to certain private engineering colleges in Pune for programs such as CSE, IT, AI, ML, or Data Science.

Although elite institutions like COEP Tech, VIT Pune, or PCCOE might be somewhat beyond reach because of their elevated cutoff trends, you can confidently aim for colleges such as Dhole Patil College of Engineering (DPCOE), Imperial College of Engineering, Sinhgad Institutes (like SKNCOE or SCOE), RMD Sinhgad, and MIT ADT (not MIT-WPU) for fields like IT, AI, or DS. Remember that CSE usually has the highest cutoffs, so pursuing AI, DS, or IT might provide better opportunities based on your percentile.

Moreover, belonging to the OBC category provides an advantage during CAP rounds since you will receive some leniency in cutoffs. Ensure you take part in every round of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), list a diverse set of preferences, and look at colleges with improving placement statistics. Keep informed via the official MHT CET counselling portal and frequently look for vacant seats at the institute level after CAP rounds for more choices.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Want to study mbbs abroad with 100% scholarship with class 12 cbse board marks and minimum expenses or 0 expenses

Samriddha Pal 19th Jun, 2025

Hello,

For many students, pursuing an MBBS degree overseas with a full scholarship is a dream. Though it's quite competitive, it is achievable—particularly if you possess outstanding Class 12 CBSE grades (ideally over 90%) and can demonstrate solid academic performance, a passion for medicine, and financial necessity. Nations such as Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, and Uzbekistan provide lower tuition costs in comparison to private colleges in India.

Nonetheless, complete scholarships are uncommon and primarily provided by government-funded initiatives (such as the Russian Federation Scholarship or the MBBS scholarship from China’s CSC—China Scholarship Council). To find additional English-speaking opportunities, some students consider Turkey, Egypt, or Hungary (through the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship).

To enhance your opportunities, it is essential to possess a valid NEET UG score, as this is required for Indian students intending to practice in India after obtaining an MBBS degree from abroad. Submit your application early, craft a compelling Statement of Purpose (SOP), and gather all required documents such as financial statements and letters of recommendation.

If you are committed and conduct thorough research, institutions such as Kazan Federal University (Russia) or Peking University (China) sometimes provide need-based scholarships or tuition exemptions for outstanding international candidates.

Hope this helps. All the best!

I have passed my 12th with pcm now i want to get admission in any course other than b.tech which can help me in getting a good job in future and at this time i want some guidance what should i opt for so please somebody help me

Samriddha Pal 19th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Since you've completed your 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and are looking for an alternative to B.Tech that offers promising job opportunities ahead, there are many attractive options available tailored to your interests and abilities.

If you are interested in computers and technology, consider pursuing a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications), which can open doors to roles in software development, data analysis, and IT support—especially if you supplement it with certifications in programming languages or data science. A B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science is also an excellent option, as each provides growing job prospects in both public and private sectors.

For individuals interested in management or business, pursuing a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is a smart choice, especially when complemented by an MBA, which offers outstanding job placements in finance, marketing, and HR. For those passionate about design, a Bachelor in Design (B.Des) in areas like product design, fashion, or animation is equally rewarding.

You may also explore aviation or defense sectors via NDA, provided you satisfy the age and eligibility criteria. The key aspect is to choose a program that matches your interests and cultivate practical skills through internships, projects, or certifications concurrently. You are in a great place to start—next, it's crucial to align your passion with your ambitions and job prospects.

Hope this helps. All the best!
