hi,
With your AP EAPCET 2025 rank of 995 in the SC female category, you have a very good chance to get admission into VNR VJIET. Since you already checked last year’s cutoffs and your rank comfortably falls within that range, your chances are actually quite strong. The closing ranks for CSE and even for specialisations like AI & ML in the previous year were higher than your current rank, which puts you in a good position. Of course, things can slightly vary each year depending on the competition and number of seats, but you are safely within the expected range

I hope this satisfies your curiosity.
If your CET score is above one lakh and you are interested in joining a nursing college, you can still get admission in several private nursing colleges. Usually, nursing admissions, especially for B.Sc. Nursing, are not as competitive as engineering courses in CET, and many private colleges have seats available even for higher ranks. Government nursing colleges might be tough to get at this rank, but private colleges generally have more flexibility and accept students with higher ranks.
Hello,
To get your queries answered accurately, please ask your question with the college name and course you are referring to.
Thank you !
Dear student, With a general OJEE MCA 2025 rank of 224 and an SC category rank of 11, your chances of getting into the top MCA colleges in Odisha are excellent. The SC rank of 11 is especially strong and should comfortably secure you a seat in the best institutes during the counseling process.
You should definitely aim for colleges like Utkal University (Bhubaneswar), KIIT School of Computer Applications, SOA University, and CV Raman Global University. These institutions are known for their quality education, placements, and reputation in Odisha. With your rank, you are very likely to get a seat in the first round itself, especially in government colleges or top private ones.
Make sure you participate in the OJEE counseling, fill in your preferences with the best colleges at the top, and keep all your documents ready. Your rank puts you in a great position, so focus on choosing the college that best matches your career goals and interests. Congratulations on your achievement. Best of luck
Dear Candidate , Yes , you are eligible and have a reasonable chance of getting a seat through HPCET counseling, especially in colleges and branches where the cutoff is lower for ST candidates. Based on previous years trends and the current 2025 data , ST category candidates with similar or even lower scores have secured admission in government and affiliated private colleges in Himachal Pradesh , such as JNGEC and other HPTU- affiliated institutes. Final allotment will depend on the 2025 cutoffs , your preferences , and seat availability.
Both NIT Surathkal Civil and RV College EEE are good, but your choice should depend on your interest and future plans.
If you want the NIT tag, a strong campus, and are thinking about higher studies or government jobs, NIT Surathkal Civil is a solid option. It may not have the highest private placements compared to other branches, but it gives you good long-term value.
If you are looking for better placement chances in the private sector and want to explore jobs in core companies or even IT, RV College EEE is a smart choice. EEE also gives you flexibility to move into software jobs if you learn some coding along the way.
With your AP EAMCET rank around 100,000 and being a BC-D female, getting into a top-tier private college for core computer branches like CSE or ECE will be very tough—that’s because most of those seats close much earlier.
However, there’s still hope for branches like Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical in well-known private colleges. Also, courses like Agricultural Engineering might still be options in some colleges. In addition, your BC-D and female reservation can open up slightly more opportunities in these branches.
To improve your chances, make sure you apply through every round of counselling, including spot admissions.
