gopi 10th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can apply to National Scholarship Portal (NSP) scholarship program in your second year of BTech even if you did not apply in your first year. NSP accepts first year applications with JEE Mains scores. For second year applicants, this field may not be necessary or displayed.

Entailment solutions:-

  • Check to see if there is an option to upload documents manually. Perhaps it will allow you to upload your JEE scorecard.
  • Check to see if there is an "other examinations" or some version, you can enter this information.
  • Contact the NSP helpline (0120 - 6619540) or email them to find out.

gopi 10th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you plan to pursue a Diploma/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a polytechnic, you will have to follow the steps below:

Check Eligibility Criteria:

Most polytechnics require:

  • SSC or HSC with Science/Math
  • Percentage of marks (generally 50% to 60%, varies from quadrate policy to quadrate policy )
  • Entrance Exams (Some polytechnics are conducting entrance exams such as JEXPO, POLYCET, or state level exams)

Select Polytechnic

Find a government or private polytechnic with civil engineering program. Here are some of the most common polytechnics in India:

  • Government Polytechnic funds by state
  • NPTI (National Power Training Institute)
  • Private Polytechnics assault AICTE* approval (check for approval)

Application Procedure

  • For online application, go to official website of the polytechnic or state technical education board.
  • Some of them may accept offline application either by courier or in person.

Entrance Exams (If Applicable)

  • JEXPO (WEst Bengal)

  • ID proof( Aadhaar, Voter ID...)

Can Inicet rank 6906 get a radiation oncology seat in spot councelling ?

gopi 10th Jun, 2025

Hello Aiswarya,

In previous years trends, an INI-CET rank of 6906 would hold little chance of obtaining a Radiation Oncology seat in spot counseling. It however depends on following factors:

  • Availability of seats in this year.
  • Choices/preferences of higher-ranked candidates.
  • Number of seats remaining after regular rounds.
Radiation oncology (RO) is a competitive branch and the cutoff rank varies every year, in the last few years, seats have been filled even under 5000 ranks in spot round.

So, keep checking the official counseling updates , be flexible with institute choices and consider parallel options (like MD General Medicine) as backup
