regular btech and online bca for cds

Nikita shahi 6th Aug, 2025

Hello ,

If your goal is to appear for CDS Exam, then here’s what you need to know:

  • For IMA, INA, and AFA: A regular full-time degree from a recognized university is required. So, regular B.Tech is perfectly valid.
  • For OTA :  Any recognized Bachelor’s degree (even BCA) is acceptable. But since you mentioned Online BCA, note that CDS does not accept distance/online degrees unless UGC-DEB approved and equivalent to a regular course.

So, a regular B.Tech is a safer and more accepted option for all CDS branches. Online BCA may work only if it's recognized, but always double-check the latest UPSC CDS eligibility rules before applying.

Best wishes !

Thank you.

can I get dr dy patil college of ayurved with 265 marks , general category and 549152 rank

Yash Teotia 6th Aug, 2025

Hello Sidra
With 265 marks and rank of 549152, you have very less chances of getting Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Ayurved as the cutoff marks are much higher.
The cutoff marks for getting Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Ayurved is around 340-400 marks and as you have lesser marks than that, it won't be easy to get admission.

Thank You!!!

i have 6 subject in class 12 with pcm english hindi physical education i have rt in maths i gave supplementary still i didnt pass that what should i have to do my father force me to take 5 subject as a pvt candidate pls guide me what is guidline of pvt

Taabia Fathima 6th Aug, 2025

Hey Kamal:)

Thanks for reaching out!

If you have passed 12th in five subjects but failed in maths and couldn't clear it even after the supplementary exam, you don't need to repeat all five subjects again. You can register with NIOS as a private candidate and appear only for maths, this way your passed subjects are carried forward and you can appear only for the failed or improvement subject.

if your father wants you to give all five subjects again or you want to improve your marks in all subjects then you'll have to take fresh admission in NIOS using your 10th marksheet and attempt all the subjects again.Just remember, this will be considered a fresh class 12th attempt and will take atleast one academic year.

I f you want a faster route,go for maths only;if you want improvement, go for all subjects

Smt. Indira Gandhi college of engineering , Navi Mumbai offers decent academics and placements of DSE in computer engineering , with 60%-70% placement rate and average package around 4-5 LPA . faculty is supportive , labs are well-equipped , but there's no hostel , students rely on nearby PGs. it's a fair choice overall, especially if you prefer Navi Mumbai location.

Hello,

Congratulations on getting a seat through CAP Round 1Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai is a decent option for DSE in Computer Engineering, especially if you're focused on affordability and access to basic engineering education.

  • Academics: The curriculum follows the University of Mumbai guidelines. Faculty is generally cooperative, though it’s advisable to supplement with online learning or certifications.
  • Placements: Being a Tier-3 college, placement opportunities are moderate. Some local companies and startups visit. You might need to apply off-campus for better opportunities.
  • Hostel/PG: The college doesn’t have an in-house hostel, but there are plenty of PGs and rental options in Navi Mumbai at reasonable prices.

If your goal is skill development and you're ready to work hard independently, this college can be a stepping stone.

Best wishes for your DSE journey!

Thank you!

The total number of government MBBS seats in Madhya Pradesh (as of recent trends) is around 2,000–2,400 seats. Out of this, approximately 50% are for unreserved (UR) category, which means around 1,000–1,200 seats are available for general category students. These seats are spread across 13 government medical colleges, and some newly established ones are also expected to add more seats in coming years.

Please do check the latest official counselling brochure of DME MP for the 2025–26 cycle for the exact seat matrix.

Good luck with your NEET journey!
