Hello Puri,
The eligibility criteria for Forensic Science in CUET( Common University Entrance Test) varies depending on the specific central university you are targeting. The standard framework for the UG B.Sc level is:
1. You must have passed your 10+2 examination from a recognized board in the science stream with minimum 45%-50% aggregate marks for General category and 40%-45% for SC\ST\PwD.
2. You must select subject in your application which are specific to your domain. Section 1(Language), Section 2( Domain subjects), and Section 3( General Test).
One must be careful while mapping subjects as it later decides the eligibility for the particular courses.
I hope this helps you.
Thankyou.

Hello Sachin,
The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) follows a "current year plus two previous year" rule as an eligibility criteria. The eligible passing years are expected to be:
1. 2026 ( Students appearing for board)
2.2025 ( One-year dropper)
3. 2024 (Two-year dropper)
Since you are a 2023 pass out, as per the rules you are considered a third year dropper for 2026 exam applications. Therefore it is unlikely that you will be eligible for IAT 2026.
I hope this clears you confusion.

This examination typically covers roughly half of the total syllabus, focusing on fundamental units such as number systems, polynomials, and geometry. By working through these papers, students can understand the distribution of marks between multiple-choice questions and descriptive problems, while also improving their speed and accuracy for the actual exam. The half-yearly tests are generally conducted at the district level, so while some questions may vary, they all strictly follow the official board pattern and NCERT-based curriculum.
