Hello Alisha
As you have failed one subject and you want to take admission in BSc Nursing, you will have to pass the compartment of that subject and then you will be able to take admission in your desired course.
Although some colleges may provide provisional admission with the condition that you pass the exam, it is advisable to clear the exam first and then move on to admission.
Thank You!!!
Hello,
Sorry, but you are not eligible for the BSc in nursing. Because you need a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and biology in your 10+2 exam. But you fail one subject, so you don't meet the eligibility criteria for the BSc in nursing.
I hope it will clear your query!!
If you have failed in one subject, it may be difficult to get admission in B.Sc Nursing , as most colleges require pass marks in all subjects.
However, some private colleges may still consider your application. It’s best to check with the specific college or university where you want to apply.
Hope it helps !
If you want to pursue Undergraduate Engineering then no direct admission is possible, generally based on Assam CEE (Common Entrance Examination). But there is exemption that first rank holder in higher secondary is exempted from Entrance Exam. There are rare chances of applying this exemption for direct admission.
For Postgraduate admission are based on merit based or through their specific entrance test.
So, there's no direct admission in ASTU. If you are comfortable then you can go for other institutions that offers direct admission.

Yes, under the Kashmiri Migrant (KM) quota in Karnataka, candidates with NEET UG scores between 330 and 380 have secured MBBS seats in previous years. In 2025, a score of 430 was considered above the usual cutoff range for this category, offering a good chance for admission, especially in later rounds or for semi-government/private colleges. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) reserves one seat per government medical college for the KM category. While the general category cutoff often exceeds 600, the KM quota typically has significantly lower cutoffs. For instance, in 2022, the closing marks for the KM quota at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar were around 370, with similar trends in 2023 and 2024. Final allotment depends on seat availability and proper documentation during counseling. It's advisable to monitor the official KEA website for updates on counseling schedules and seat allotments.
Thank you for your query and congratulations on your allotment through DSE for IT.
