which college can a 59116 rank student get in banglore for cs

Ayush Madanpotra 19th Jun, 2025

With a KCET rank of 59,116 in the general quota for Computer Science Engineering in Bangalore, here are colleges where you have a strong chance of getting admission:

You may get CSE at New Horizon College of Engineering where the closing rank was around 57,200 last year.

CMR Institute of Technology also had a closing rank close to 57,400, making it a good fit.

BMS Institute of Technology & Management typically closes around 53,300, so you’re just outside but may get in later rounds or through waitlists.

Also, colleges like KLE Technological University and Sir MVIT had CSE cutoffs near 52,800 and 52,800–53,000 respectively for general quota in Round 2.

If Cairo rank in Bangalore, Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) had general CSE closing rank around 64,100, so you’re likely to secure a seat there.

Reddit discussions confirm these estimates and recommend these colleges for CSE around your rank range.

So, with your rank, aim for New Horizon, CMRIT, or BCET for CSE admission in Bangalore. You can also try for BMSIT or KLE through later rounds or waiting lists if you're flexible.

B pharma ranking 116003 ide counceling hakidre yavdella clg sigabahudu

Ayush Madanpotra 19th Jun, 2025

With a NEET rank of 1,16,003, you cannot get a B.Pharm seat through NEET because B.Pharmacy admissions do not happen through NEET.

In most states, B.Pharm admissions are based on your 12th board marks or entrance exams like KCET (in Karnataka) or state-level CETs, not NEET.

So, if you want to join B.Pharm, you can get a seat through:
– Direct admission in private or semi-government colleges
– KCET or other state CET counselling (if applicable in your state)

Ayush Madanpotra 19th Jun, 2025

If you scored 49 in PPMET 2025 and belong to the SC category, you may have a chance to get a B.Sc Nursing seat, depending on the cutoff in your state or university. In many cases, SC category students with scores between 40 to 50 do get seats in government or private nursing colleges during later counselling rounds.

I scored 252 in neet and qualify and I am in sc can I get college

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

Hi student!

Yes, with a score of 252 in NEET and belonging to the SC category, you have qualified the exam. However, getting a seat in a government medical college for MBBS is quite difficult at this score, since SC category cutoffs for government colleges through both AIQ and state quota usually range much higher, often around 420 or above.

Still, you may have a chance in certain private medical colleges, especially those that offer government quota seats. Some states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra tend to have lower cutoffs for SC category candidates in the later rounds of counselling, including mop-up and stray vacancy rounds.

You can also explore private medical colleges where the cutoff is relatively low. While the fees are usually higher, some colleges do offer scholarships or financial aid to SC students. Additionally, you might consider BDS or allied health science courses, where the cutoff tends to be more flexible, and opportunities are still good.

It is recommended to participate in your state counselling as well as All India counselling, and regularly check cutoff trends and seat availability.

Hope this helps!

I get 205 marks in NEET UG 2025. Can I get semi government B.A.M.S college?

Ayush Madanpotra 19th Jun, 2025

With 205 marks in NEET UG 2025, it is not likely that you'll get admission in a semi-government BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) college, especially if you belong to the general category. These colleges usually require higher marks, often above 450–500 for general and slightly lower for reserved categories.

However, you may still get a seat in a private BAMS college through management quota. Many private colleges accept students with lower NEET scores, but the fees can be significantly higher.

If you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) or are from a state with lower cutoffs, you may have better chances.

My marks in neet 2025 are 476 and General ews category Can I get a mbbs seat in goverment college

gopi 19th Jun, 2025

Hello Jatin,

Based on 476 marks in NEET 2025 and in General-EWS category, it is important to remember that obtaining an MBBS seat in a government medical college is dependent on your state of domicile and the cut-off trajectory of that year.

  • For All India Quota (15%) - General-EWS - the cut-off is usually above 600 in most government colleges.
  • For State Quota (85%) - conditions are better if you belong to a state which has lower cut-offs or a lesser number of top rankers. North Eastern states, Bihar, Rajasthan, or Chhattisgarh are likely to have lower cut-offs in EWS category but 476 is still borderline.

You may have a better chance in:

  1. Semi-government/ESIC colleges
  2. Deemed universities with EWS seats
  3. Private colleges with government quota fees

I got 248 marks in neet 2025 from st category, and I am from gujrat.can I get admission in mbbs in private medical college??

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

With 248 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the ST category from Gujarat, you have qualified the exam, which is the first step toward admission. However, getting a government MBBS seat may be quite difficult at this score, as the ST cutoff for government colleges in Gujarat usually stays higher—often around 350 to 400 or more.

Still, you do have a chance of getting an MBBS seat in a private medical college, especially under the ST category. Gujarat has private colleges that reserve seats for reserved category students, and the cutoffs there are generally lower than government colleges. Your chances improve further during the mop-up or stray vacancy rounds, depending on how seats remain vacant.

Make sure to participate in Gujarat state counselling and keep checking for updated cutoff data, especially for private colleges with category-wise seat allotments.

I have done my 12th and got 43 percentile in mht cet I want to take addmission in btech or be in field like cs ,it ,ai and ml

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

Hi, if you’ve completed your 12th and scored 43 percentile in MHT CET 2025, it might feel a bit difficult to get into top government engineering colleges for branches like Computer Science, IT, or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. These branches are highly competitive, and their cutoffs are usually much higher, especially in popular government or autonomous colleges.

However, there are still opportunities available. Many private engineering colleges and unaided institutes in Maharashtra accept students with lower percentiles, especially in the later rounds of counselling like CAP Round 3 or the institutional-level rounds. These rounds often have vacant seats, and the cutoff tends to go down, which increases your chances of getting a seat in CS or related branches.

You can also consider applying to colleges in cities like Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, or the outskirts of Mumbai, where private colleges offer BTech or BE programs in CS, IT, AI, and related fields. Some colleges may even offer management quota or direct admission after the CAP rounds are over, although the fee structure might be different.

Make sure to stay active during the counselling process and apply to multiple colleges. Explore all the options available to you and don’t miss any deadlines. Even if you don’t get CS directly, branches like Information Technology or Data Science are also great choices and often cover similar topics.

With the right strategy and persistence, you can still get into a good college and start your journey in the tech field.

Giet mechanical engeneering Cutoff 2025

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

Hi there! If you're considering Mechanical Engineering at GIET University, Gunupur in 2025, here’s something that might help you plan better.

Based on previous year trends, the expected cutoff through JEE Main for Mechanical Engineering could fall between 8.5 to 10.5 lakh rank under the All India Quota. For students applying through OJEE, ranks between 7 to 9 lakh have usually been enough to get a seat in this branch. These numbers can vary each year depending on the number of applicants, seat availability, and counselling rounds.

GIET Gunupur has a solid reputation when it comes to core branches like Mechanical Engineering. The college offers good academic support, practical exposure through workshops and labs, and a decent placement record in industries related to manufacturing, design, and automation. For home-state students applying through OJEE, the chances are even better as cutoffs tend to be slightly more relaxed.

If your rank is somewhere close to the expected range, don’t lose hope. Many students get in during the later counselling or mop-up rounds. Keep a close eye on the official counselling schedule, fill as many choices as possible, and make sure to attend all rounds to improve your chances.

Wishing you all the best for your admission journey!
