You can select Diploma in Computer Education or Diploma in Computer Teaching courses if you are pursuing TYBMS and would like to earn a diploma in computer teaching for Mumbai schools. These courses assist you in instructing schoolchildren in computer use.

Mumbai's top universities for this degree are:
Women's University of SNDT
Colleges affiliated with Mumbai University
Computer Education Institute (ICE)

Typically, fees fall between 20,000 and 50,000 annually.
You can apply in person at the college admission office or online. Complete the form, send in your TYBMS grade report, and make the required payments. Both online and offline applications are accepted at many colleges.

Hello there,

If you're aiming to become a computer teacher in an ICSE school in Mumbai, pursuing a Diploma in Computer Teacher Training (DCTT) is a suitable pathway. This diploma equips you with the necessary skills to teach computer science effectively.

Recommended Institution in Mumbai:

  • Imperial Institute of Management, Andheri West

    • Course : Diploma in Computer Teacher Training

    • Duration : 1 year (Distance/Correspondence mode)

    • Eligibility : Completion of 10th grade from a recognized board

    • Admission Process : Direct admission

    • Contact : 022-67084192

    • Address : 6th Floor, White House Ltd., Opp. Andheri Public Bridge, S.V. Road, Mumbai.

After completing the DCTT, you can apply for computer teacher positions in ICSE schools across Mumbai. Schools often look for candidates proficient in programming languages like Java and Python, as well as software tools such as MS Office. For instance, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan International School in Malad prefers candidates with qualifications like B.E., B.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (IT), B.C.A., or M.C.A. for teaching classes 6 to 12.

To enhance your employability, consider supplementing your diploma with certifications in relevant programming languages and software applications.

how much rank will get admission in jee mains exam

Akansha Sharma 23rd May, 2025

In JEE Mains, the rank needed for admission depends on the college, branch, and your category. For top NITs and IIITs, you usually need a rank under 30,000 for popular branches like Computer Science (even lower for General category). For other branches or reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), ranks up to 1–2 lakh can still get admission in good colleges. Private colleges accept even higher ranks. So, aim for the best rank possible and choose colleges wisely during counselling.

My rank is 3588.will I get seat in RVR and JC or svuce tirupati

kumardurgesh1802 23rd May, 2025

Hello there,

With an AP EAMCET rank of 3588 , your chances of securing admission to RVR and JC College of Engineering (RVRJCCE), Guntur , are quite promising, especially in high-demand branches. However, admission to Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (SVUCE), Tirupati , may be more competitive for certain courses.

RVR and JC College of Engineering (RVRJCCE), Guntur

Based on the 2024 AP EAMCET cutoff ranks for the General Category :

  • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) : Closing rank around 4592

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) : Closing rank around 5514

  • Data Science : Closing rank around 5806

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) : Closing rank around 5064

Given your rank of 3588 , you have a strong chance of securing a seat in these branches at RVRJCCE.

Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (SVUCE), Tirupati

For the General Category , the 2024 AP EAMCET cutoff ranks were:

  • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) : Closing rank around 3273

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) : Closing rank around 7212

  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) : Closing rank around 19808

With a rank of 3588 , admission to CSE at SVUCE might be challenging, as the closing rank was 3273 . However, you have a good chance for ECE and EEE branches.

I would recommend you to use the AP EAMCET College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

Hello there,

Yes, if you pass Mathematics as an additional subject through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) , it is generally accepted by Delhi University for eligibility in courses that require Maths in Class 12, provided :

  1. You pass the subject before admission starts .

  2. You meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the specific course (like B.Com (Hons) or Economics Hons).

  3. You include Maths marks in the CUET subject combination and it is accepted by the course you apply for.

Make sure:

  • The NIOS result is declared before DU admission deadlines.

  • You choose the right subject combinations for CUET and DU eligibility.

Always cross-check with the latest Delhi University admission bulletin for that year.
