In 2024, the state quota cutoff rank for the General category in Physiotherapy courses through NEET was around 49,000 in many states like Madhya Pradesh. Candidates who scored approximately 620–630 marks had a good chance of getting admission in government colleges for BPT.
However, the cutoff varied slightly depending on the number of seats, college reputation, and state-wise competition. Those with slightly lower marks could still secure seats in private colleges or during later counselling rounds.
There’s no published state quota cut-off for physiotherapy in 2024. Generally, government BPT seats remain competitive and typically close by NEET marks 300 to 500 (AIR 50K to 120K) for General candidates. Admission largely depends on state counseling policies, not uniform cut-offs
Hey Praveen,
Thanks for reaching out!
With a rank of 17,600 in AP EAPCET inder the BC-D category, getting CSE in AUCE,JNTUK or JNTUA is quite unlikely,as their closing rank for B-CD usually ranges below 6,000 - 10,000. However, you have a good chance of getting CSE at SRM University AP and SVC as their closing ranks often go beyond 20,000 for BC-D.To improve your chances consider related branches like IT,CSM etc and fill your web options wisely, giving preference to slightly newer but promising colleges.

Hi dear candidate,
With the percentile between 70 and 80, your JEE rank should fall between 2,50,000 to 3,00,000 which might be challenging for getting a college with CSE branch as it is very competitive and requires much lower rank.
However, there are potential good private colleges like PCCOE, BVIMR, DY Patil Institute etc. for you to consider.
Talking about MIT WPU then the minimum percentage for 12th board BTech is 50% but the percentile for CSE branch at MIT WPU is at least 90% so you should try other branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical etc.

Hello Aspirant,
Yes, Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and more hire candidates from any engineering branch, including EEE or electrical engineering. What matters is what you can do, not your stream. To get top packages, here is what you should learn:
Hello Nidhi,
Yes, Electrical Engineering (EE) can be considered in NITs if a student is interested in ECE. Electrical Engineering has quite a bit of electronics content, such as analog/digital electronics, microprocessors, control systems, and to some degree, communication and embedded system electives. EE is often regarded as one of the hardest branches of engineering because it is very mathematically/theoretically based like machines, power systems, signals, etc.
However, there is no reason why anyone cannot avoid EE if they keep working, study smartly and follow good guidance and support. If someone has a deep interest in electronics and has a good understanding of the basics, they will do well, and later, may even be able to focus on electronics-oriented electives or projects. Furthermore, there are still many job opportunities (core jobs, software jobs, and centre for research, GATE/PSUs) available to EE students, just like ECE students.
If your NFAT 2025 rank is 208 for the Delhi campus and your name appears on the Delhi Campus merit list, then you’re in a very good position. Since you didn’t find your name in the first list, don’t panic admission generally happens in multiple rounds.
Your name might appear in Round 2 or 3, especially since you're from the General category and within a strong rank zone. As for Gandhinagar campus, they may release a separate merit list later. Sometimes only shortlisted candidates are shown in each round, and Delhi campus tends to fill fast, but a rank of 208 is good.
Check the university’s admission portal regularly, and attend counselling/document verification if called. If confused, contact the official helpline or email the admission team.
All the best!
If there's a slight variation in your name between your government ID and school marksheets, it's best to use the name exactly as it appears on your 10th or 12th marksheet while filling out the CAT form, since academic records are the primary documents used for verification during admission. However, ensure that the variation isn’t too major if it is, you might consider getting an affidavit or correction done in the future. For now, stay consistent with your academic records to avoid any mismatch during document verification after the exam.
