SEJAL JAIN 8th Oct, 2025

Hello Adarsh

The NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) is a government exam for Class 8 students to support their education. It provides a scholarship of 12,000 per year from Class 9 to 12. The exam has two parts: MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). You need to study subjects like Maths, Science, and Social Science from your class syllabus. Practice reasoning questions too! With regular study and mock tests, you can do really well. All the best!

i gave my 12th boards in 2025 feb, in which i got a compartment in result. i had an option to reappear in all subjects, Ill be reappearing in 12th boards 26, so how many jee adv attempts do i have and will there be any issues in registration of mains and advance as i will pass my12th in may 2026?

SEJAL JAIN 9th Oct, 2025

Hello

Since you’re reappearing for your Class 12 boards in 2026, that will be counted as your official passing year. So, you will be eligible to write JEE Advanced in 2026 and 2027. Although you submitted the boards in 2025, that attempt won’t be considered due to the compartment. JEE Advanced rules allow 2 attempts in 2 consecutive years after passing 12th. So you still have both chances left, which is great! Just make sure you meet the other eligibility conditions too. Keep your focus strong, you’ve got this!

Sir , i belong to bc category, Converted christian from scheduled classes under serial 16 A,Im giving my jee exam this year.im confused which category i have to go, whether obc or general ews or sub caste ? .in my og certificate BC is only mentioned.income 2 lakh below

SEJAL JAIN 10th Oct, 2025

Hello

Since you belong to the Scheduled Castes but converted to Christianity, the SC reservation usually does not apply after conversion.
Most government exams like JEE give SC benefits only to Hindus, Sikhs, and Buddhists, not to converted Christians.
You should check if your Christian sub-caste is listed under the OBC (Other Backward Classes) category. If yes, then you can apply under the OBC reservation.
If not listed under OBC, then you may have to apply as the General category.
You can also try for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) if your family income is below the limit. It’s best to get a caste certificate from your local authority based on your current category.
