if i got allotment as my 2nd option will i get next allotment below the option i got..?

Tanya Gupta 13th Jun, 2024

Hello,

If you receive an allotment for your second option in a college or university admissions process, you typically will not get allotments for options ranked lower than the one you received. Once an allotment is made for a higher preference, the lower preferences are generally disregarded in the subsequent rounds. You may still be considered for allotments for your first option in subsequent rounds if seats become available

Hope this helps,

Thank you

Cut off changes every year and depends upon various factors including number of students appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam,  availability of seat and previous year's cut off.

Do i need to solve the biology or maths section in SRMJEEE if I am applying for biomedical engineering in SRM .

Nitin Kumar 14th Jun, 2024

No, you don't need to solve the Biology or Maths section specifically if you are applying for Biomedical Engineering at SRM  when taking the SRMJEEE exam.

The SRMJEEE (SRM Institute of Science and Technology Joint Entrance Examination) is a common entrance exam for admission to all B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) programs offered by SRM University, including Biomedical Engineering. The SRMJEEE exam focuses on these four sections: Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude. These sections assess your foundational knowledge in science and language, along with your problem-solving and analytical abilities, which are crucial for engineering studies.

A basic understanding of Biology can be beneficial for Biomedical Engineering as it deals with the application of engineering principles to biological systems and medicine. Similarly, Maths skills are important for various engineering calculations.

which course better Health Informatics or Bioinformatics?

Sajal Trivedi 14th Jun, 2024

Hello aspirant,

A course in bioinformatics gives you an all-encompassing study of multiple fields within one degree. It deals with the hand-in-hand learning and development of the fields of computer science, engineering, and statistics to process information dealing with biology. It uses such tools to make further advancements in biology as well as process and store data related to it.

Applications of computer science and engineering to medicine are part of the field of health informatics. The greatest solutions for utilising various technologies, resources, and techniques to obtain, store, retrieve, and use information in healthcare are offered by this discipline.

These both are different courses and both have good scope. I suggest you to choose the course that you yourself want because that will be in your best interest.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

what happens if you are debarred from semester exams in a particular paper in sxc kolkata?

Nitin Kumar 14th Jun, 2024

If you are debarred from appearing in a semester exam at St. Xavier's College (SXC) Kolkata for a particular paper,:

You won't receive credit for that specific paper in the semester. This can affect your overall semester performance and potentially delay your graduation timeline.

You might have the opportunity to re-appear for the debarred paper in a supplementary exam (if offered) or during the next semester (depending on SXC's policy).

In some cases, you might be able to apply for condonation of the shortage of attendance (if that's the reason for debarment) by paying a condonation fee. This allows you to appear for the regular semester exam with a penalty.

which exam should i take after 12th for marine biology

Tanya Gupta 13th Jun, 2024

Hello,

To pursue a career in Marine Biology after 12th grade, you typically need to enroll in an undergraduate program in Marine Biology or a related field such as Biology, Environmental Science, or Oceanography. In India, several entrance exams can help you get into these programs. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is used by many central and state universities for admission to undergraduate courses, including those in biological sciences. Additionally, some universities and colleges might have their own entrance exams, so it's important to check the specific requirements of the institutions you're interested in. Preparing for these exams and ensuring you have a strong foundation in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics will be essential for a successful application.

hope this helps,
